Just wanted to give a shout out to the staffs. They perform such a phenomenal, and very loving service. They were so kind, and served my aunt until her last breath. So much love, and so much compassion from them. The warm smiles, and the smallest of gifts made a world of a difference. Love in action is the expression of their duty. Truly they are angels. Thank you.ππ

Moved to Sacramento in October 2021. Decided to use UC Davis because I had a great experience with a family teaching clinic in St Louis (Mercy). There, I felt like I got extra care because the residents were up-to-date, had great bedside manner, and would take extra time to explain your conditions to the students who were also learning. I was learning with the med students! UC Davis Med has not been great. The doctors and nurses have been ok, but I get none of that 'extra care' experience. Instead, I've talked to the resident, who then leaves the room for 15 minutes to talk to a supervisor, to come back and give me a diagnosis/prescription. I am healthy and only coming in for wellness care, yet my OOP bills have been high with crazy facility fees ($1000 for two visits and routine labs?! I am on a high deductible plan). The visits have also taken too long (I spent 2.5 hrs for visit + labs on establishing care; only actually saw the doc for 20 minutes). I know everyone is understaffed because of the pandemic, but it still shouldn't take that long. Parking is a mess. Scheduling is only by phone. I can't even get back in with the doctor I've been seeing. I want to transfer to the midtown clinic, but then I would have to re-establish care. I'm already being asked to see another doctor, what's the point of a multi-site system if I have to re-establish care at a site down the road? I was also supposed to receive an HPV shot, but they forgot to authorize it on the first one, so I've had to go back in for multiple visits.

For the life of me, I am unable to comprehend the origin of these negative reviews. On the eve of Mother's Day, my sister was admitted to UC Davis Medical Hospital. Her abdomen was extremely painful. In less than half an hour, the team took her vitals and brought her into a room where they performed an x-ray and implanted a tube to remove bile from her stomach, and prescribed pain medication. She was transferred to a spacious room with a view. Most of the nurses have been excellent. They have not been as attentive as I would like. Nevertheless, they are doing the best they can. Three days did pass before my sister could have an MRI. However, this is a trauma hospital with more critically ill patients who require MRIs. We received the results today and the doctor explained to my sister that she has Chron's disease with a stricture. Now the easiest thing to do is to have my sister undergo surgery. As a result, the doctor recommended that my sister stays for the weekend, and they will monitor her while she is on steroids. A chrons specialist will also consult with my sister, the physician explained. She will not just see a GI doctor, but a chron's specialist before she leaves the hospital and will be referred to the specialist for care for as long as she needs it. Why would a hospital treat anyone so well who is on county medical assistance if they only cared for money? Allow me to explain. They do not only care about money. To me, it is about respect for doctors and nurses. As well as communication. It is important to voice your concerns with the staff rather than taking note of everything they are doing incorrectly so you have something to complain about. This is not fair. For patients who are suffering from an ongoing health condition that has not been resolved at previous hospitals or with their primary care physician. It is highly recommended that you visit UC Davis Hospital because this is where you will find your answers. There you will be treated well regardless of your insurance coverage. There is a department within UC Davis dedicated to customer service, which will take care of any complaints you may have. For those who are posting negative reviews. Before you post a review, please consider your experience as a whole. In doing so, you may harm someone who is relying on your word. Although, I do believe the level of customer service at the main entrance sets the tone for the perception of this hospital by patients, families, and friends. Given this, it is understandable why there are complaints. The woman who stands at the entrance does believe that she is a regulator, and instead of wanting people to be able to visit their loved ones, she finds reasons why they may not be permitted to visit. The same is true for most of the people at the counter. The person at the front desk had written the date on a covid test I brought in on Wednesday. On Thursday, the line on the test was dim, and the representative at the desk almost refused me entry. Since it was clearly dated the day before by their staff, there was no reason for her to question it. Other than that. This hospital is a life saver.

Worst hospital in Sacramento!! My daughter was flown here from 5 hrs away. Once we got here they only allowed 2 people in to see her the whole time she was admitted. Since her parents have been divorced for a while my oldest daughter, my self (step dad) and her dads wife (step mom) where not allowed to visit even though we all are vaccinated and have proof. The doctors treat you as a number not as person! No formal way to file a complaint! Everyone just passes the buck onto someone else. They placed my daughter under a 51-50 hold even though we have a plan the next day for therapy for her. Then sent her by ambulance to another facility against everyoneβs will. This place a joke! They my be a teaching hospital but take your children somewhere else!!

Yes
Check with the website or call
My mom didn't have insurance and UC Davis Emergency nurses help my mom get insurance and help pay her bill.
If it truly is an emergency (i.e., an abscessed tooth with the potential of causing sepsis), I would say so.
Please i want to know if the milwaukee protocol is available in this hospital or no
You have to be vaccinated unfortunately. And even then they are very strict on allowing people in. Good luck
Hi Phillip, Thank you for your question. Yes, we do. It's called the Pavilion Cafe dining room and it's filled with great farm-to-fork selections. Here is a link to the cafe with daily hours and available menu options. https://health.ucdavis.edu/food-nutrition/cafedining/pavilion.html I hope this helps!
Under privacy agreements, That information is not admitted due to Hippa.
What you looking for? The ER?
Yes you could visit in the ICU but with no children they're not allowed inside
Sorry I'm not sure
They most likely do have suboxone there. But, you will need a prescription to get it.
You must show proof of COVID 19 vaccination or a negative COVID 19 test taken within the last 72 hours of each visit. You must also be on the patients designated visitor list.
Not sure...I wouldn't doubt it though. They have everything. Best hospital around!
Hi Living Heritage, Thank you for your question and your interest in us. You can search for UC Davis Health doctors by visiting https://physicians.ucdavis.edu/ I hope this helps!
What kind of lab?
I want to recommend
Usually a shower and finding the source to irraticate.
Because of a law protecting people's privacy is called HIPAA unless the woman signs you your name on a release form you will be able to get no information on her . Just know that you did the best you could and every good deed is rewarded . Because of HIPPA (privacy laws) you will not be able to get information on any patient unless they specifically put your name on a release form. Just know you did the best you could and let that be okay.
Hi MarieMarie Bekele, Thank you for your question and your interest in us. We offer specially discounted hotel rates at The Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Midtown and the Hotel Med Park, Sacramento. Iβd also suggest contacting our Consumer Resource Center at 800-2-UCDAVIS (1-800-282-3284). Our staff members there can usually help with any related questions. Another option is to visit our website here for more resources: https://health.ucdavis.edu/medicalcenter/visitors/places-to-stay.html I hope this helps!
I believe it has something to do with water, tank or pumping system.
Go to admissions.
Your question is going to the general public and not to UC Davis. If you have a primary physician, you should work through this doctor. If you cannot, then you might just go to the ER and ask for directions on what to do.
Ask for a patient advocate...
Yes its a real good hospital. Exspecial er
Everything todo
Go left at green, if you reach the convent you've gone to far. Hope this was helpful!
I'm a patient with UCDAVIS COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER.
Have you considered calling a cab?? Possibly, The bus will transport you from the airport.
You can call them and ask them for directions
Call information. Then they may not give you information on a patient.
I agree @Nancy Fulton. I have had a few stays there over the years. And its always bugged me whenever i was there, was that beautiful scenery and suprisenly all the trees you can see for miles, but always through a filthy window.
I would think so. You can call the medical center.
You have to go through the IT department at UC to gsin access to patient data. They have to veg you as well.
It makes sense. Schools graduate in May and June, therefore residence will start in June or July. Thus, the more inexperienced doctors are starting at that time of the year.
Part of the floor is where for people who transplants. Other half is patient rooms and ICU
They specialize in all aspects of medicine and cutting edge technology
I think you are looking for the company called Vision Care Ophthalmic Technologies.
