It’s cool, it’s iconic and it’s only $1 (50c if you have tap card) what more can you ask! Fun with kiddos too. Come early, most likely you’re have the whole cart to yourself!

Fun and historic. Good price and tickets are 1/2 price if you have a LA metro card. It doesn’t seem reliable at all though as I bought a round trip ticket, we went down the hill for lunch and after lunch it wasn’t operating any more. Walking up the hill sucked so I was pretty disappointed it wasn’t working. Pretty cool ride though.

A complete must if you’re visiting downtown L.A and exploring around! The fare to ride is $1, if get on the side right across the Grand Central Market you will have to wait to get all the way up to pay the ride. You can use your TAP card but if you pay cash you get this really cute souvenir ticket 🎫 (so if you want to keep a memory now you know) The ride up is quick and fun, and for a plan of visiting the market and later the Broad museum, this makes the way up the hill a million times better. Fun fact: this railway appears in one scene of LaLaLand!

This is a great deal for a short entertainment outing. The cost is only $1 each way. Once you've got to the top, it's a very beautiful area to look around. The people on the train were very pleasant and enjoyed the experience quite a bit. It doesn't take very long to ride, but it's well worth the price.

I just rode and paid with Mastercard.
Diagonally across the intersection there is an open lot a well that i found was one of the cheapest and central places to park. Could walk to the last bookstore, the sky observatory / slide, Grand Central market (or something like that), Angels flight etc.
There's a nice little garden with a pond at the top and you have a view of DTLA skyline. You can also take the stairs if you don't want to pay for the railway or can't wait for the next car up.
Yes, it is working. The tram is waiting about 5 minutes for passengers to board and then it takes about 1 minute to ride to the other stop.
Yes, right across the street is the Grand Central Market, another LA draw. It's a marketplace with all sorts of food vendor's. You'll find just about every type of food there.
No weight limit. It can carry about 20 people at a time and it will not be full when you ride it.
Maybe in the ticket office at the top.
https://angelsflight.org/frequent-asked-questions/ they have information of this on the website. "The railcars and their narrow aisles never were designed for wheeled vehicles. That said, provisions can be made for a wheelchair user to access the Railway from the Upper Station adjacent to the fully accessible, circa-1993 California Plaza (350 South Grand Avenue). The wheelchair user can ride down and up on the modified upper platform on Sinai. Just let us know about your visit as soon as possible. The Operator in the Station House will be happy to assist any wheelchair users."
It takes you up one block. It's more of an attraction than a way of transportation. Still worth checking it out as there are not many cities with similar historical sights.
It's a very steep hill and in old, pedestrian Los Angeles, it was a way for people to get upnto Bunker Hill.
There are some food shops at the top gotta take a flight of stairs down one level below plaza area.
Ride was a out 150 to200 ft. Long. Up then goes back down. There are 2 cars.
Nah. I always see folks of all ages riding the rail.
With TAP card it is less... Ay be 50 cents...As far as I can remember
You show the tap card and pay cash. With tap card it is 50¢
The Railway’s Top Station is located at California Plaza, 350 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles 90071. The Lower Station is located at 351 South Hill Street, Los Angeles 90013, across from Grand Central Market. The Railway is open daily, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays, from 6:45 in the morning until 10:00 at night. The fare is $1.00 each way, and you may purchase a souvenir round-trip ticket for $2.00 to take a piece of history home with you. A $0.50 Metro fare discount is available for TAP Card users with Stored Value — for a one way trip.
Talk with the ticket booth, 213) 626-1901. She said Angels Flight may be closed but wasn't sure.
No there's no museum or visitor center but there are shop where you can buy some suvenirs..
Subway service card , u need to purchase it in order to go into subway and metro rail service. also gets you 50% off here.
The track is under 900 feet in lenght from Hill Street up to California Plaza.
It depends on the disability as the train entrance and seats are very narrow, but generally speaking I would say not handicapped accessible.
