Went to the groomers they said that the dog needs to get there shots I brought the dog with me so I made an appointment at banfield pet hospital got the shots explain that I need the shots so I can groom the dog that has a matted situation and now it waited 48 hours got the appointment woke up in the morning 8am went to the appointment and now The lady saying that dog needs to go and get a medical grooming I was just at the vet why didn’t they groom him there when I was in the visit . Petsmart banfield hospital are running a scam to get more money I don’t trust it now $60 for the visit Plus there something for shots another visit grooming matted situation cost $60 plus $40-$200 if the dog is kept longer for the grooming that’s ridiculous i’m never coming back to Petco for grooming ever again

The pet care plan is decent enough and the check in staff are always polite. But if an appointment is at a set time it's not ideal to make the person wait 20+ minutes. I was in the lobby once when I witnessed a staff member be completely unprofessional with another client who had questions. The manager then came out and I mentioned the unprofessionalism to her and she said "it happens" and shrugged it off.

I have been bringing my various pets to this particular Banfield since 2015. Dr. Rathie and Dr. Wood are both excellent vets. Dr. Rathie greets me by name every time she sees me (and given how many pets I have, that is quite often), and has no problem telling me information I need to hear upfront without sugar coating or giving any false ideas of outcome. I have also seen Dr. Weiss for wellness visits and teeth cleaning, and he is also wonderful. Their vet techs, assistants, and front end staff are always kind, courteous, and quick to strike up friendly conversations about your pets. As long as Dr. Rathie or Dr. Wood are here, I will keep bringing all my pets in.

This vet office is wonderful! I have a very old pup with lots of ailments, and everyone has been supportive and engaged in my process to improve my dog's health and lifestyle. Everyone remembers her and I feel that we are both very well cared for. I cannot say enough about Dr. Wood, who has been so generous with her time and energy and my many questions and worries. I know we are in good hands and full attentive hearts <3

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 4, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
