We went here with our kids, ages 7 & 11, during spring break and they loved it! Was suppose to stay 2 nights but ended up having to leave after 1 night due to a family emergency. Staff was understanding and refunded us for the second night since it was only 0900 when we had to leave promptly. While here the place was clean and the staff was great. We were luckily able to experience their breakfast buffet which was AMAZING! Definitely recommend going if you kids and need a quick getaway.

The resort is clean and there are so many activities to do. However, remember to bring your entire paycheck. Prices alone for staying at the resort are astonishing. We recently spent 4 nights at a hotel in the lake George area and paid significantly less than our 2 nights at Camelback. Not only is the hotel way over priced, but then tack on all the activities. Those are additional. And the meals are significantly overpriced. We paid $18 for a pretzel. Yes it is a large pretzel but $18 is highway robbery. And the sheets are like paper, rough and noisy. The toilet paper is cheap and rough. Love the concept of this resort but the prices need to be adjusted!!!!

I’m realizing that the majority of these bad reviews are written by people who have been coming here their whole lives and are upset by the new management. If you have small kids and are trying skiing out for the first time this place is great. There are several bunny slopes, easy ski in ski out. Especially the buffet breakfast is so easy. Plus service was incredible. Eider, Melissa and Nicole were our wait staff on different days and they made us feel welcomed even with our poorly behaved kids. I challenge anyone to try and book something on the West Coast for a cheaper price. Not to mention there’s an indoor freaking water park. I feel bad to say this but 80% of the occupants are New Yorkers and they have higher than normal expectations. We are not in Vail people. Calm down. If you are not coming with a family and were wanting a sexy vacation, or “righteous” snow sports go to Colorado man.

I’ve been coming here for the last 7 years straight and loved it. After new ownership this year, I’ll likely never come back. Insane prices for parking (we always paid extra for premium on the weekends but now it’s FIFTY dollars and a sliding scale from there with no free option. The new RFID cards slow down the lines because they never work. On a beautiful Sunday with all trails open they only had 4 lifts going (2 of which only go half way up the mountain) so the express lifts were a mess all day. I only went to the top of the mountain once because it was a minimum 20 minute lift line. It made it not worth the hefty 100 dollar price tag (not including parking). Almost fell over at lunch when 2 orders of chicken tenders and French fries cost FIFTY dollars. An absolute joke. We have the money to pay but we’ll be taking it elsewhere. I’m happy to pay if the experience is worth it but it absolutely was not. I would not recommend and will be warning all my friends.

It's not the resort fault if people are not gonna listen. They can only do so much in instructing people to wear mask. Unless your gonna hire your personal Covid-19 mask police team, just have to be aware of your surroundings and wear a mask yourself. Yall are dramatic.
If you stay at comfort inn nearby the resort a lady from a timeshare company called: Serenite will stop you at a desk in the lobby. If u go through a presentation they will give you FREE tickets to the Camelback Mountain for you and your family. Absolutely free! That's how we were able to go.
yep. I didnt realize they were called Snowblades lol thought they were called Skiboards
Yes there are two bunny hills (calling the Sun Bowl a bunny hill) and thr green trail Honeymoon is a longer version of a bunny hill.
Best to buy when you get there and also get a flash pass if it's busy. I rented a house when I went so not sure about hotels if that's what you're looking for.
I think they ok with that..they must check is for for or alcohol..
Yes. https://www.skicamelback.com/lessons-equipment/pocono-ski-lessons/
Check there web site for cost if lift ticket. You can rent skis and snowboards there not clothing. But i saw signs at ski shop down the montain that rents clothing as well.
Yes, not every slide and water ride is wheelchair accessible, but the wave pool is and other small parts.
Yes you can. Might be less expensive to rent equipment from a local ski shop though.
They have bunny slopes with a magic carpet lift, and there's also a tubing area. If the cold gets to be too much, there's also an indoor water park.
Big Pocono State Park. About .5 miles from Camelback. Not sure what time they close though, I would check.
There is a manager by the name of Joyce at guest services. I'm not too sure what Camlebak's official refund policy is but if anyone can help you it's her.
Not sure why you think there would be. Do you mean do you get a discount or a additional charge? I'm not sure but must be on the website.
No but they do have a shop where you can buy those things.
Not yet.
Sure search Airbnb or similar sites

There are atleast three eateries at the bottom of the skiing slopes. They're decent sized and fast-food type restaurants.
I would rent outside the resort, rentals at shops outside the resort are 19.99 weekdays, 10 dollar more for weekend. In resort weekend cost is 45, weekday is 35 I think.
Yes, they will hold your luggage until your room is ready. You can also stay and use the park on the day of your departure
You can both ski and snowboard and you must be at least 18 years old.
Yes there is a fire place to sit around outside and the also have a place inside to sit.
I recommend snow pants. You will get wet.
Of not mistaken I paid an extra 30 bucks
They are having a lot of staffing problems due to most of the staff being kids
Spoke with them yesterday, theyre trying to make snow but the warm temps and rain are giving them trouble. Said next wknd doesnt look promising
no not yet
Yes. A Walmart and a few gas stations
In December better
No same place.
Dont know, good question to call and ask
Only at the resort that I know of,that has a indoor water park and like 5 mins away
Weekdays about $250
Yeah sometimes, if you have sprint you'll roam or some bs sometimes but connection shoots right back up
You can rent the whole skiing gear,if you rent on the way to resort it's cheaper than in the resort
If you are retired during the week of course.
Yeah, should be no problem. Also shops b4 the mountain
They have both
Good idea on windy days. Sunglasses work well if you don't fall often...
The ticket sales is a little tricky too. You have to line up early in the morning to get a voucher for a time slot and then get there 30 minutes prior to buy a ticket.
You might be best off renting off mountain (there are stores along the road).
No sure but there is guest wifi
Computer, phone works too but will just take a little more time.
I’d call them
$44 for adults I'm not sure the children
No they do not have snowmobiles to rent. The only ones on snowmobiles are the medics so I hope you never need one
No it's open. If your refering to the wave pool in Camelback's Aquatopia
I'm thinkin if u made a reservation at camel back there restaurant or what ever means of feeding there guest should be able to provide that.
Conditions were decent to good the last time I went but that was after fresh snowfall. Conditions would be okay today most likely. Overall this place has had good conditions the few times I've gone.
You are most likely SOL. Unfortunately, the resort doesn't really have any responsibility for your ability to get there. Try the insurance through your credit card... Good luck!
Yes, you can rent, all of the equipment needed for skiing and snowboarding
Yes, you can.
Not sure about pets Room was very comfortable
Great place for a birthday party!
Camelback has 37 trails but they are not all currently open. I would check their site for which are open the day you plan to visit as it changes with the weather. I have not been to elk, so I can't help with the comparison
They are very good at making snow. Given the temps are cold enough.
They might restrict you to 6 for safety reasons, in case there was a fire or some type of mishap. I would call before you go.
I do not drink and can eat at home. Can my direct care worker take me down tubing??
Yes it's open tomorrow you can check online the rates
I think thats allowable 👍. Call & find out ☺
I don't understand what Pi Day are saying
I think so...maybe call them and find out! 😊☺
In addition, the food is very expensive at the water park
I don't work there I rented for the labor day weekend. Sorry I can't help you with that.
