We went here with our kids, ages 7 & 11, during spring break and they loved it! Was suppose to stay 2 nights but ended up having to leave after 1 night due to a family emergency. Staff was understanding and refunded us for the second night since it was only 0900 when we had to leave promptly. While here the place was clean and the staff was great. We were luckily able to experience their breakfast buffet which was AMAZING! Definitely recommend going if you kids and need a quick getaway.

If you're looking for a fun getaway, look no further than Camelback Resort! Located in the heart of the Poconos, it's a decent drive from New Jersey, New York, and of course locations in PA! Featuring an amazing indoor water park, amusement rides, an arcade and more, there's never a dull moment here. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous throughout our entire stay. We enjoyed the water park the most, which had numerous water slides, a tidal wave pool, a splash pad for little kids, a sauna, outdoor pool, a lazy river, drinks, food, and more. The indoor water park is worth the visit. Above that, you'll find amusement rides and activities. The place was pretty busy but there weren't any long lines anywhere. And the pizza was pretty good, although pricey -Everything was wheelchair accessible and friendly. -Masks were worn by a lot of staff and a few others. -Parking is ample and valet service is available. -Shuttle services were available and there are daily activities on their website.

Excellent senior trip location! Lovely rooms, great service, and a beautiful view. This location would've earned 5 stars if things to do were cheaper, and if food was better. The water park was also underwhelming. Nevertheless, great vacation spot!

Save you time! Did my kids have a lot of activities to choose from? Sure. We’re they able to take advantage of them? No. The wait was crazy, even though you buy times tickets for everything. And the wait to get a clean room is beyond. Why encourage guests to check in online early to avoid waiting if you make them wait hours. Yes, hours! Waiting for a room and the ability to settle in and enjoy a relaxing time with family. Not worth the hassle, drive or money to enjoy a room for 5 hours.

Indeed!
It is also salt water - so they can use less clorine. I have sensitive skin & have had problems with other pools. I did NOT have any problems at the indoor or outside Camelback waterparks.
I reccomend going to the outdoor park if you dont want to stay at the indoor one for a night
Only the outdoor waterpark. If the lightening storm is short they will tell u to seek shelter & then re-open. The indoor water park is NOT affected by thunder or lightning. When we were there last month we went to the indoor water park after the outdoor one was closed bc of lighting
Yes they have wifi but during my families stay it rained and the wifi continuously went out. We stayed for 5 days and were able to use the wifi for 2 days in total.
No, they cant move the mountain to Virginia. A simpler solution would be to move yourself closer to Pennsylvania.
Both are allowed
Yes, and it's quite a blast
They will provide you with one when you check in the hotel.
The gym is open. It's small, I didn't go in if someone occupied under the current conditions.
Go to camelbackresort online and choose a package that was cheaper for me. I chose the breakfast package that included the room and water complex package. For 3 days and two nights my package costs almost $ 1000. We stayed, played and ate at the resort. I spent and extra $ 160. You'll end up paying at least half in advance and then when you arrive at the resort ... the rest in advance. You will have fun the day of the week should be cheaper than the weekend. Just check
On the website - not just hotel guests - tickets $59 - must be purchased online, and not transferable and non-refundable... lookup aquatopio tickets...
Anything electronic you would like. Free wifi is offered there . they sell water proff covers behind the coffee station in the lobby;that is the store. Also lockers are provided to rent small is $7 and a large is 12 and well worth it if you have a family a four. There is also a safe in every room.
Our stay included passes for one day for four guests. We booked straight through them. I believe if you do the Groupon deal that you do not get the passes. But you can buy them once there for 15$ a person. Still a really good deal.
I would definitely recommend by phone. I received a better deal when I called them, compared to their online pricing.
Of course. It's a full service hotel. Check out their website. This information is wildly accessible.
You can get water park tickets at the front desk, you will have to go elsewhere to buy tickets for snowtubing ect
There's an an adult only swim up bar (serves alcohol) in Aquatopia. It closes when the park does.
They always specify that a child needs to enter with an adult. It is better to inform your family where to go in the case they get lost.
I've done Aquatopia. The lines move swift and are usually not packed. Never done the outdoor water park.
No you can buy a aquatopia pass for the day or sesson pass
I believe check in is at 4:30pm & checkout is 11am. my b/f & I got there before then but they allowed us to put our things in the room & enjoy the waterpark & the rest of the lodge ☺🌊🏨
Never been their..camelback was very nice rooms clean beautiful view
I would say no? Only bc our local pool didn't allow it bc of covid which makes no sense. But it's worth a call to management to see what the rules are exactly.
You can go to another hotel as long as you have your tickets or the bands for that day
Hot tub yes, spa extra.
I payed for two adults $198 .00 tha only includes the daily pass 9.a.m to 9.pm
There is a special section for small children. Ice berg and penguin themed. Day passes are really expensive. They often surpass the cost of a room. Which includes water passes from 1pm the arriving day and all day the following day. So even if you only want to spend a single day might be worth getting the room arriving late and spending the whole next day.
Yes you can buy a day pass from downstairs in the arcade room area
1300$ plus we had 5 adults and 6 kids but it was absolutely worth it Such a great time and the rooms are beautiful
I believe they only allow service dogs. It is very busy and crowded so i would not recommend bringing a small dog even if allowed poor thing might get stepped on
Depending on what you do things open most things tend to open at 10 and PA runs on EST time like NY and NJ
It depend how crowd it is and depend on the lifeguard on duty
Near The Lodge By The Outdoor Water Park
You can google that... Basketball courts near 193 resort drive in Tannersville, P.A
Yes but at times is in the afternoon after ther lunch cause newq people comming those checkout are 1st. Enjoy
No
Yes package with hotel but no breakfast
You can also go in the summer, spring & fall. They have a big indoor water park (wave pool, lazy river, flow rider, slides, etc) with a transparent ceiling. Also, there are so many things to do indoors. In the summer, there there is an even bigger ourdoor waterpark (costs extra). My friend booked us online 4 months before & found a great discount, prepaid for the outdoor water & paid a large deposit. It was cheaper that way. As well, every room has a fridge & microwave so you can bring your own food. She did a lot of research & Camelback offered the best value for the money. We had an amazing time. We're planning on going next year & staying longer.
You have to pay extra for the outdoor waterpark but you can get great deals
I believe the closest Weis Markets 2836 PA-611, Tannersville, PA 18372
They offer day passes but it's honestly cheaper to just stay in the hotel overnight if your going with more than 2 people!
Indoor water park included with hotel room. 4 tickets to Outdoor water park or ski lift tickets included in the seasonal savings option. Extra tickets are$15pp.
U have to look online. Different price
That I don't know .But it's a giant facility for families. And public washrooms throughout. Go online or phone Camel back. That's all I know
You can buy just water park tickets.
There is an excellent, free shuttle service btwn the lodge & the outdoor waterfront. We had super friendly drivers & it was fast - even when the park shut down for the lightening
It depends on when you are staying and what room you get. I found it best to go through their website and plug in your dates and it'll give you a total for the actual dates that you are looking for.
They have ample space for parking, but during our stay it filled up pretty close to capacity. They may have you park in a different lot, like maybe where you enter the ski/tubing entrance. I recommend contacting them directly. AND, I believe you must be a guest of the lodge to use the water park. They have 2 water parks, indoor and outdoor. Hope this helps.
Hot spots activate your bracelet to go to Aquatopia on your last day (after u checked out).
You can also buy in person but it's first come first served.
My daughter is 20 months and I took her. I mean she didn't get on any of the rides but it was things for her to do
Food is not included, though ice is. Room service is very expensive, so I would recommend eating in.
For Camelback resort/Aquatopia wayerpark rates you need to make stay reservations online. For Camelback mountain ski rates depends on what day (weekday/weekend) you're skiing. Seniors (70+) and 5 years under are free. Better go to their website for sure.
You need to check the rate per day and person
Camelback has packages on the amount of people you have in your group. I took a group of student up to camelback. Had the water park and skiing in my package.
You must call, because I went to the Indoor Water Park ....you can bring as many people as you like Aquatopia ...it was great!
Depends on what you want to do. While I was there, meals for 5 ran me between $75 and $100. They did give us a coupon book at check in that helped with discounts on most of the stuff we did.
Yes they do. On the 6th floor. We were a larger group and we had the second largest room in the building.
Yes
If you have a large group as a school trip, you can contact camelbeach customer service and they will assist with a big group as that.
In.
It open everyday 10 am to 10 pm ..i work there.
No u can go anytime u want...
Is there security in front of where u enter the pool and enter the indoor and outdoor water park like kahlihari ?
Yes you can
They take either one. They will allow you to pay over the phone or in person. If I were you I would call first to see if you can get a deal.
I saw a small dog with a family. They may have pet friendly floors but you may want to call and make sure
I'm not sure.. We drove there. But I'm sure they do. We seen a lot of buses out there dropping off people.
Well here is the address to the nearest walmart from camelback: 3271 PA-940, Mt Pocono, PA 18344
Yes the rides are for all ages but the indoor park is very small. You will enjoy more the outdoor park!
Its comes out to around 240 but that's with 2 queen size beds plus a queen size sofa pull out. Then the entry for the park is free.
Ask for the loft if you are traveling with a party of 5 or 6. They do have a king size bed in the lofts.
You put your bags either in a locker or at a table.
$44 per person per day per waterpark unless you stay in the lodge
Sorry no swimming pool to do laps but they have a swimming bar where you can get drinks and all the fun thst the water park offer its open until 10 pm
$59.00 if you come from off property...and there are limited tickets sold daily...so plan accordingly If you stay at Camelback lodge you get admission to both Aquatopia and Camelbeach...of course in season only...Duh...Lol!!!
Check in is at 4pm but you can start using the parks as early as 12:30pm. If your room is ready, they might let you check in as soon as you get there though. That was my experience. We got there around 1:00 and they let us check in. Checkout is 11am.
Are you talking about the indoor waterpark cost $66 and canvas are 106 with tax.
Whatever time the indoor waterpark closes the arcade closes. I went on a Saturday it closed at 10.
They do not allow dogs in.
It all depends when you go. It's like every resort, you'll pay more on weekends and holidays. When my son was younger and not yet in school, we of 3 would go there for $200 per night.. Which includes waterpark and camelbeach (summer only)
I think it's fine for the first few hours. After several hours I wanted out because I have allergies. It's not any more than any regular public place though. They have showers in the bathroom that were at least private enough and acceptable if you can't go back to your room
If you want something for couples, you're going to be bothered by the screaming kids running around you. Yeah, there's a bar - so the adults can ignore their kids on the slides.
Check prices. I know at Kalahari it's cheaper to get a room than a day pass
I checked groupon and was going to book through them but then I went on the website and decided to get the Family Adventure Package or whatever it's called. They upgraded me for free plus we received two extra mountain adventures because we purchased through Camelback itself- it came to $330 for one night. So 6 mountain adventures, 80 arcade credits, 4 breakfast vouchers and obviously water park tix included. So worth it! You can stay until the park closes after you check out. I found one night to be perfect.
the indoor water park closes at 9 p.m.
