There is an excellent, free shuttle service btwn the lodge & the outdoor waterfront. We had super friendly drivers & it was fast - even when the park shut down for the lightening

No it's not interconnected.one is indoor the other is on a mountain side it's well worth it if u get a room the mountain beach pass Free
The outdoor park you need to drive to and buy tickets to I believe. The outdoor park is available as long as it's not raining
