We love these early California small black olives. My concern would be - why can't I find the small ones and why "such" a price increase? I understand prices have to go up. Have a good day

I can open the jars without assistance, live alone and old, arthritis hands. Purchased at Smart and Final San Diego University Ave

I can see that for some strange reason the employees are leaving reviews about what a great place this is to work instead of leaving this week for product reviews like most companies, it seems to falsely drive up their rating. I had a not so pleasant experience in dealing with Melanie when finally after buying numerous bad olive cups over the years, I finally took the time to report it to her. They are quite expensive and I had thought about calling when I got them but then ended up getting caught up in life and never calling or sending them back. Many companies appreciate customer feedback because it lets lets them know where there might be problems in production etc but I was greeted by Melanie with comments like "that would never happen" when trying to give her the product stamp info and "I find that hard to believe " when she misunderstood the fact that I have had issues in the past on numerous occasions. When I tried to then address these issues with her in a respectful and polite way, she ignored me , rushed me right off the phone, without any acknowledgement of making the customer feel worse by letting their company know. My hunch from being treated so poorly is that they really don't care and the valuable time out of my day was a taken and I was treated like I was a real pain to her. Gee, so sorry Melanie.

I really like Black Olives, so when I saw them, I purchased the Pearls from our local Wal-Marts. Not only was I delighted with their flavor, and texture, I was also very happy to find that they are low in calories and that I can enjoy them on a daily basis! Thank you Musco Family! For making my day better with this delicious treat!

I've worked for this company for 5 years and they are very proactive about contamination. I find it hard to believe anything made it through the cleaning and sorting process. I mean, metal doesn't float and olives get swept off the top and the brine added separately. Also they'll fire people for not wearing a hair net. Call customer service and give them the product so they can figure out what happened.

The olives are fermented so you get yeast on top just like when you make beer. It's pretty cool.
