Nice place has a lot of variety of bike but the customer service could have been a little better. When we asked about a bike the person was just staring blankly and did not tell us any detail could have been better.

Solid store. EXACTLY the service requested. Must remember that.

Not happy with the bike fitting that I got done here. The person did not even take measurements to ensure my seat was at the right height or position. He just eyeballed it and said it looked good. Well it was not at the right height or position. I had to go home and look up how to adjust it to the right position.

About 2 years ago I bought a bike and I was assured the bike was the right size for me. I am 6'10" and weigh 300 pounds and an associate at Mike's Bikes knowingly sold me a bike that was significantly smaller than what I needed. I have used the bike a handful of times since I bought it. The most recent time, the bike tire blew out while I was riding and I fell off my bike. I had to walk a couple miles to get home. I called another bike company in Pleasanton to fix the tire and look into the creaking and the guy asked "who sold you this bike? You're 6'10" and weigh a lot. This is a XLT bike. You need a 2XLT bike. It is dangerous for you to ride this bike as the frame and the smaller tires can't handle your weight." I thought it was an upsell opportunity but looked into it and he was completely right. I should have done my research but the only reason why people go into bike shops anymore is because the associates are supposed to be very knowledgeable about their products. It is a service for the associates to provide you with accurate information and I shouldn't have had to worry about associates lying to me to get a sale. Very disappointed in Mike's Bikes and I will not be shopping there again.

Masks are required. No more than 2 customers (or small groups) allowed in store at a time.

I have a bad left crank arm I'd like to replace. The crank set says 'powerwheel' but has a key-like face-plate, over where I'd expect to see an allen wrench socket, that I'm not sure how to remove. Thoughts?

Mikes has a full service Tech department and will definitely have the know how and tools to get your crank fixed.
