What can say about Primrose Pleasanton? My older one graduated primrose this year! We started at the school 4 years ago and it has been an outstanding school. We have had the pleasure of seeing our little girl mature into someone who loves to learn, interact with her classmates and excel in her academics! I have been very pleased with the teachers over 4 years. Many of the teachers are excellent. This year during the pandemic we enrolled in an online platform. We were blessed to have Miss Falguni as teacher. She did remarkably job instructing each child and giving all of them so much attention and all the children it the did so well. I commend the leadership team on bringing great teachers to the school and also maintain safety standards during the difficult time. Our children are our most precious things in life, I always felt comfortable to place them in the hands of primrose Pleasanton. I also want to point out that many of families that we have meet at the school are awesome! It’s a great community of people! Kudos to all. We have another one in the school so I forward to the same quality over the next few years.

It pains me to write this review for Primrose as it's the first school in Pleasanton that we had enrolled our son into. We were so excited about our new neighborhood and really happy that we found a school with structure as well as the fact they served their own food. We were looking to switch out of a Montessori environment into a more academic mixed setting. I thought for five months about whether or not I wanted to write this review, but think it's high time that I voice my experience and opinion about what we endured. It was though by far the worst experience we have ever had at a school. First let me begin by saying that we have an incredibly energetic and sometimes defiant little one. When we enrolled him, we had mentioned this to the person who gave us the tour and filled out all the paperwork accordingly. They did say that the behavior was 'normal' four year old stuff...so we started. Thereafter, ensued five months of torture. Every single day there were complaints being sent home about various issues (many new ones that we had never witnessed) that he was having. Let's just say this is the root cause of the issue: their teachers (specifically in the pre-K class) are not equipped to deal with high energy children. They yell, look defeated and have zero solutions or tactics on how to calm children down. Our child was constantly made to think that he was the 'bad kid' in school. Yelling was often the mechanism by which they would try to get him to comply...one which he does not respond well to. During the parent teacher conferences, we were called in to listen to a long list of complaints about him. No positives...no mention of the good things. No mention of how he was doing with academic related things....just complaints. About a 4 year old!!! With that said, the two administrative staff, did try a lot to help the situation and we did have some good experiences with them trying, but by then it was too late. The damage had already been done and his confidence was completely shot. To this day (five months after we withdrew him) our child has literal nightmares about this school and he says that people called him a bad boy and mean and one of the teachers said he behaved like a wild animal. Should I also add that during our short stay here not once did the owner of the school talk with us. We finally withdrew based on our child not napping as they said if he doesn't nap, he's out. They didn't have any alternate solutions for this so we had to opt out. At that point, after all those complaints and the short tenure, we never received a call or invite to sit down with the owner for them to understand what exactly happened. I'm sorry but after paying equivalent to what is a college tuition for pre school, you expect better treatment. If not for us, at least for the child who we've entrusted that they take care of.

Jenny is the worst. She is rude, unprofessional, and has essentially no experience with how to run a facility. Stay far away.

Staff clearly does not care about the children - they only want to run school as a business to drive a profit. Absolutely no follow up from management team and administrators once they received our registration fee. The facility itself is nice but that was it.
