Brought my pets here a total of 3 times... 2 out of 3 isn't bad I suppose but once was for the pet clinic.. Out of 2 appointments that I have made, today's was a bust. An empty waiting room, yet waited for 40minutes and was asked to wait another 15mins, and yes, I was on time. Had there been a busy waiting room, I would have understood but they offered no explanation, no apologies until I took the initiative to ask 40mins later. The vaccine clinic with a line out the door was faster then today's visit. Disappointed. A week's worth of waiting for nothing.

The staff are professional, caring, and compassionate. Many types of animals and are patient and attentive. I would go no where else with my dogs. Each is eager to go and see the staff and vets. I am glad AV has them here.

I love these doctors. Dr. Dave and Dr. Nyholt have been caring for my animals for over 20 years. Dr. Dave is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He cares for animals and it shows. This is not one of the cheapest hospitals in town but I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. The staff has worked us in in many an emergency and given beyond excellent care in good times and sad times. They offer low cost shot clinics on Wednesday’s.

I have taken my two dogs and guinea pig to Dr Dave and Dr Nyholm for years, never had an issue. Recently both my dogs needed surgery (unrelated issues) one was a delicate cancer surgery, both times the staff was great and both times I received a call from Dr Dave explaining how things went after surgery. Also received a call, again from Dr Dave, checking on them the next day. I am a health care practitioner, and I can say very few doctors go that extra step of calling themselves. The diagnosis and recommendations they make are logical and appropriate, they have never tried to “sell” me anything unnecessary, on the contrary they appropriately suggested not removing a lipoma from my dog since it wasn’t causing issues. I really appreciate the care they provide to my pets and would highly recommend them. I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else.

I have taken a pet chicken there in the past, so most likely. Dr. Dave deals with exotics and unusual pets.
