Not a family friendly church We have a 2 yr old and a 2 month old. I or my husband are with them all the time, so the 2 yr old is not ok staying with strangers or in a nursery. We are looking for a new church home. We visited this church this past Sunday morning. We sat in the very back. It was extremely loud. So loud we had left the first week we visited because we were concerned for baby's hearing and I brought noise cancelling headphones for him to wear this week. The announcement video literally blared. In the announcements it said they had one midweek service a month for everyone to join in including kids. They have a separate building for the kids ministry. The pastor got up and the mic was still super loud. Baby was silent during the service. Our 2yr old daughter talked a bit during the sermon. No yelling. No crying. No moving around. In the last row. A church volunteer came over and told us she had to go out because she was disturbing people. No one had even turned around to look at us. They said we could go to a room where they have a TV with the service broadcasting. I said that if we were going to watch TV we would just stay home. We went ahead and left. I came back alone to speak to leadership to see if this is their policy or someone was overstepping bounds. I spoke with the senior pastor's wife who had told my husband she is also a pastor at the church. She said that they livestream and that is their policy and how they train their team. She claimed that many churches do this. As I have said we are looking for a church home and have visited many. I have never been told I have to take my child out. I have on my own if they are crying or being very loud. She was not. I am super disappointed. I feel like they are more concerned with making things appear perfect for people watching online than people there in person to be fed. I also believe this attitude is against Jesus' attitude toward children in scripture and is devaluing of children. Very authoritarian- children are to be seen and not heard. If you attend this church, please do not invite anyone with children to visit and consider if this attitude has affected the way you think about or treat your own children. For the church leadership, I seriously question who's kingdom you are trying to build. "People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this,he was indignant. He said 'Let the little children come to me,and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:13-15

So far so good. Concert atmosphere every service. Very welcoming. Great youth out-reach. I feel the spirit in this place. Great teaching from pastor Titus. Only question I have, is does this church teach the whole Bible, even the uncomfortable parts. Time will tell. Love y'all, and Jesus has risen.πͺπ Update: I'm very pleased to say that on 4-3-22 that all my questions were answered, this is my new home church. The most powerful message I've ever encountered. Titus is different than what your used to. God is using him as his bow and trust when I say, he never missed the target... Just like Robin Hood. You come here, you will enter Hungry, you will leave full. I pray nothing but blessings upon this church, Amenπ

Good singing you can usually feel the holy spirit in this place. The pastor, Titus Terry has became a very good preacher in. He comes from a long line of pentecostal men. The fosters go all the way back to 1900 when the pentecostal movement broke out right here in topo ks
