They have great deals all the time! Wish they had more wide size selection in shoes though. All in all still a great place to shop!

great selection in every department and that is the only reason i am willing to give it a star. drove to the topeka location in order to get something that was in stock there, and not at the manhattan location. i wish i would have had the time to wait for a package in the mail, but i didn’t. by far the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. i have never felt so frustrated in any store ever. to put it simply the employees were rude and unhelpful, and the customers are simply viewed as an inconvenience. luckily we were greeted by the employee at the front of the store before he fell asleep several minutes later. we stood at the firearms counter for at least 10 minutes, very clearly with the intent to look at and/ or purchase something from behind the counter. not once did the man who happened to be working there greet us, acknowledge we were even there, or offer any sort of help whatsoever. you would have thought we were invisible! we did arrive at the store close to closing -probably about an hour or so before closing, so i understand as an employee you may have things you need to get done, such as inventory or some sort of paperwork before the day is done. i also understand several stores, restaurants, etc. are understaffed and have an extra workload, but he seemed to be taking much more than his sweet time. even if you are busy as an employee at a gun counter it is your job to SELL firearms. first and foremost a simple hello, what can i pull out for you to have a look at, are you in search of anything in particular, are there any questions i can answer for you, if you give me one moment i’ll be right with you, i’m a little behind on this so it’s going to be five minutes until i’m able to get you what you need thank you for you patience, SOMETHING! finally after having him walk over and stand directly in front of us with his back turned towards us, walk away and continue doing whatever it was he was doing i realized that if we wanted any sort of help i was going to have to ask for it, so i said “could we get some help if you ever get a chance.” now at this point i had been pushed to my limit, as i had already had negative interactions with multiple other employees in another department within the store, so i may not have used my kindest tone but i most certainly was not rude, and i would say we had been very patient considering we had been there for ten minutes already. when he was able to make his way over to do his job we were greeted with “what do you need”, and the rest of the interaction was followed with the same tone and shortness, so we left. as we went to checkout we once again were ignored by our cashier. not once did she even look up at us, and the only time she had anything to say was when she asked if we had the academy credit card, no i do not and i certainly wouldn’t be signing up for one in that store after the way i had been treated. thanks but no thanks. hello! did you find everything okay? will this be all for you? simple customer service. i am generally a very kind and understanding person and i would not typically find negative things to write a review about (i don’t even write reviews!) but my encounters within this store were simply unacceptable, and i hope customers are not consistently treated this way within this store.

Meet at the front door by friendly staff member hanging out for fliers for the store. A little disappointed in the amount of items not in stock, but it does appear they are starting to get more items back in.

The store is great but the phone customer service is horrible. It took me forever (weeks) to do a online order. When it shouldn't of been that crazy. But the guys that helped me after I got my order were helpful.

Chain store... it would be nice to have more market friendly products that are more appropriate for the location.
