This is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, I went there after the pick bloom but still got to see some beautiful flowers. I will definitely visit this place again during the next pick time. The trail is little difficult because of uneven terrain, will be very difficult for people who uses wheelchair.

Very peaceful garden. Not crowded when I was there (11:30 on a weekday). Lots of flowers in bloom, some not yet. Easy trails to walk with lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view.

Unmatched numbers of mature azaleas. All different varieties by a lovely lake. No dogs
Judgment Day
The Good: This place was peaceful and the flowers were beautiful. My friend said that the Azaleas have not completely bloomed, so I could only imagine the beauty of this place when it does happen. The scenery here with the trees, flowers, and water was beautiful. The area was clean, as well. I've been to parks and gardens where the immersion was just ruined by trash. This is certainly not an issue here. The Bad: I did not find one bad thing with this place. Judgment: This place gets... 🏆 🏆 🏆Judgment Day's Flawless Seal of Approval🏆🏆 🏆 I definitely recommend.

Majority are passed as of last week.
No, dogs and food are not allowed in the flower area. Only the parking lot side with the playground.
May 1st is a good time. Check with visitor center by phone. 😊
No, only in the park across the street, where you have picnic tables and an incredible view of the damn and river
9am - 7pm
peak time would be considered to be mid- spring to early- summer. brighton dam is planted with many different varieties, provides for continuing color, blooming from mid- spring until late summer
i don't believe you can fish from the dam itself. you can fish from boat or the shoreline of reservoir and stream below the dam. fishing license and boat permits required
You can walk the Azalea Gardens but you cannot walk around the dam
Yes. It is closed all of 2018 due to construction at Brookfield Dam which eliminated parking for the season.
nope not yet, weather been cooler than normal..... probably start seeing some color first .... second week of may.
Not shure
no azaleas in bloom yet. about mid- may. from then on into june there will be plenty of color.
