Question: My cat is very, very aggressive in a new environment and with strangers (such as the vet doc and staff). Can you sedate her and shave all of her hairs, as she vomits her hairs at least once a day? While sedated, I would like to her to be rabbi-vaccinated as well. Thank you.

Before the old staff left I used to love bringing my dog here, the vets and the assistants (I think that’s the correct term) were so loving towards my dog he had no issue being around them for shots and made him feel comfortable. The week was my first week bringing him during the pandemic and I understand he was anxious for his first time back in a little over a year but the customer service just isn’t the same anymore. I understand that bc of the pandemic it’s drop off appointments but I had asked before making the appointment if I could be in the exam room with him - I was told I could. When I brought him to his appointment they told me they’d call me when he was done - I didn’t argue about being in the exam room with him I just let it go. Second, I get a call that just bc they couldn’t draw blood for a test they were just going to dismiss the shot he needed as well - the main reason I made the appointment. When they call me that he’s ready there was an issue with the care credit system they have or whatever it was - I was asked to step aside so that she could help the other customers who were waiting in the maybe 10 mins she was trying to get it to work for me. I thought she was just going to help the 2-3 customers who were already there, I was wrong. This went on for ONE HOUR of customer after customer. I also asked in the beginning if they could give my dog some water since he didn’t take any outside before coming in and it was hot, he was anxious. When I got him back it seemed like he didn’t even drink anything while there, when we got home he had plenty water and air to cool off but he just kept panting. I came to banfield thinking the old vets/assistants would be here so he’d be comfortable, if I would’ve known it was all new people I would’ve taken him to a vet closer to home and have already been going to for my other pets.

Super friendly service. Kind careful treatment. Felt my cat was in good hands. They offer all checkups, exams, lab, testing for cats and dogs. But they do not conduct ultrasounds. You have to go to the recommended locations or other for that. And they don't have a pet pharmacy here. You have to order online.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
