Have volunteered several times at HTF. Definitely would recommend it for anyone considering volunteering their time and energy for a valuable cause in our community.

I called shipping and receiving and he told me if I got there they would unload me. I arrived by the time I told him I would and now he won't unload me. So now I have to sit here 18 hrs to until my appointment time. I wouldn't have came just to freaking sit 18hrs plus unload time. Don't tell drivers you will unload them if your not going to. Absolutely bs...

I volunteered. Folded and stuffed envelopes. Was a good feeling to give back!

Need to call 211and ask for assistance. A good majority of people just need a little help getting by. I work for a food pantry and we get many people that need just that little help getting by.
they weren't open due to covid
No
Right do not accept them
Call and ask if they would,if there's a food pantry in your area they might take them
Hello Mr. Haggerty, Hunger Task Force is a local food bank. We provide food and resources to local neighborhood pantries. What is your zip code? I can provide you with the address of the closet pantry to your home. Regards, Martha Collins ACCESS Program Manager
No not to the public
Only other thing I can think of is to call 211.
Contact hunger task force via phone or their website. Either way you should get be able to get information on receiving stock boxes or if you are looking at helping to fill them. Whichever information you're looking for it is available to you via the phone or their web page
You can also visit several local shelters, churches, hunger task force or even feeding America if you are looking for meals. Some schools even offer free food or lunches to children.
First have to find a pantry in your area, then sign up. Need to bring a photo ID and a monthly bill statement every time you come in. Most pantries are a once every 30 day program.
Not sure if they give out food at the location, but provide food to pan-fried.
We do give out pizza, whole chicken and usually one other meat. Right now it's sausage.
