We frequent this resort and it's one of our favorites! Beautiful, clean and safe grounds. Close to the beach either way, with a short walk or bike to the pier and beachside park. Close to town to enjoy restaurants and shops. We love the live music and movie nights during the summer! And the train ride on site is a kid (and adult) favorite! Everyone is always so friendly.

The resort is very nice I'm actually surprised it is rated so low. The bathrooms and showers are very nice, there is a convenience store on site, the pool and game room is very nice as well. They have soft serve ice cream to purchase and everything is kept up very nicely. If you park on the west side it is a little noisy due to the freeway but I actually preferred that side of the park for the privacy. I really didn't mind the freeway noise that much. (I sleep with ambient sound anyway). It is a little more on the expensive side, but I do appreciate that they check wristbands and drive security through at night. Ventura has a large homeless population and this park does a great job of keeping it safe for families inside this private park. I would come back again for sure.

Literally right next to the 101 with traffic all night long. They charge you for literally everything including early check-in or late check out. When our aunt and uncle came to see us they charged them $40 to sit by the campfire, at our site, for an hour. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Beach access is almost a mile walk and its all rocks. The pool is nothing special and just a kidney shaped pool with no slides or kid area. Honestly, the need to nickel and dime for a campground with nothing special to offer is ridiculous. Plenty of other places to stay for less money with better customer service. We paid for one night in April with the intention of spending a week over the summer but we’ll definitely not come back now. Stay somewhere else for the cost.

The place is clean with nice amenities, but stops there. It is way overpriced; definitely not worth what you pay. Worst, it's right next to Highway 101 and the road noise & car fumes is stifling. So much so, you can't sit outside and have a conversation without yelling. Campers close to the freeway won't get a good night sleep - guaranteed! It's too bad. We love to bike and this place has access to excellent riding trails. If you have a well insulated RV, don't mind staying inside all the time and pay high prices, you might consider this place!

A bike would be preferable, although you could walk, but it'd a bit of a stretch.
Yes. They also have Yurts for rental. Take note that the resort is next to the 101 freeway. So it is a little bit noisy from cars driving by.
Patt B is the mot acvurate answer
About 6 mos ago i heard 1200/mo but dont think the long term rental side is the same as the nightly side..its a decent place but the pwr night fee is insane and they nickel and dime you to death..just for that reason and a couple others i have only stayed twice and was disappointed both times ..but 1200 is not bad just make sure you go see what spot that is before agreement...i would be careful not to rent site unseen in person. Also many homeless encampments near by so keep your valuable things locked up.
Call the resort and they should be able to give you all the information about your stay whether is per month or week or per year.
Floods
we are open
There are designated tent sites.
Yes, they have separate tent sites, and you can also add a tent to your RV site for an extra fee. I’m not sure what the current fees are.
Not at the site's I have been in
It was in the last storm . They evacuated today in advance of the storm tonight. Supposed to be very bad here
No. The place flooded after the rain storms
I have seen these types there ,like wesley said if in overflow it can be tighter than the other spots ,so call ahead
Wifi all depends on where you are and if your in the overflow. Normally the place is at 💯% capacity and the wifi is unusable due to the amount of people logged in. Great cell service, oh and make sure you dont lose your wristband ...
Just a fire pit, bring your grill.
My advice find a place more inland because price will be very high. In fact moving to CA is a bad idea. I own 3 houses in Utah for less than a 1200 a month and one is rented for $800 a month. I lived in CA for 29 yrs would never live there again. I would find a small piece of land some where quiet park the motor home on it and not worry about anything
The place is to popular to give a discounted monthly rate. They have no problem being full with the average tourist staying there.
They have tent camping spots with no hookups, for rvs over the holidays it is roughly $70 a night. Might be cheaper at other times?
yes help didnt seem to bright and inly ine ladybhad the say so
