Dr. Peter Johnson replaced my aging dentures and they are perfect. He is meticulous and made sure the dentures fit just right. Now my bite is improved and these dentures are much more comfortable than the old ones. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson. Thank you to Donna and Linda for your help.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR an OSA SLEEP APNEA APPLIANCE! I received a custom appliance from Dr. Johnson through Sharp (before they discontinued working with him due to many patient complaints of malpractice). My teeth began shifting from the mouthpiece within a few months, and Dr. Johnson attempted to tell me that it could not be because of the mouthpiece (despite the obvious effect and many research articles stating otherwise). My jaw and bite has shifted within 2 years due to the mouthpiece, and I now have an underbite due to his haphazard placement of the mouthpiece, which involved no precision or optimal placement. He argued that I could not possibly have had an overbite and denied any possible causal relationship. Sadly, I have heard account of other patients requiring jaw surgery after using his appliance. When molding the mouthpiece, he did not check my airway or the outcome of the device in relation to my sleep apnea. On my most recent routine adjustment, he made an entirely incorrect style of mouthpiece than we had agreed upon (was supposed to lock in front bottom teeth because they were shifting), and he seemed to point his frustration towards me when I told him it was incorrect. Dr. Johnson showed a combination of incompetence and arrogance in my visits with him. He does not seem up to date on current research and practices, and most likely has not adapted his methods since he was in school many years ago. Sharp Rees Stealy no longer works with him for a very good reason. He used to be the only option covered under insurance, but now they refer patients elsewhere after collecting years of complaints and claims of malpractice.

Dr. Johnson is a true professional. Before choosing who to go to I found out there are only a handful of prosthodontis in San Diego County. I chose the best because Dr. Johnson is very considerate and put in the extra care to make sure I was happy with the outcome. He is truly an expert at all he does. His whole staff is excellent, and his office manager Donna makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk through the door. She goes out of her way to make you feel special. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and his staff for the best service available.

We (My spouse I) have been patients of Dr. Johnson going on 10+ years. My spouse has had 3 implants & several crowns all with excellent outcomes. I have received a full mouth restoration of some 28 crowns completed about 3 years ago. Whew! It was quite an experience. I'm most pleased with the end result. I regularly receive compliments on how natural my teeth look especially from my hygienist. In addition to looking great they work well after the initial adjustments were completed. Dr. Johnson continues to follow up and provides ongoing care and maintenance. He has stood behind his word and work whenever there has been an issue. We feel confident we receive the very best work & service from Dr. Johnson & staff. We highly recommend him for any prosthodontic needs. Dr. Johnson's professionalism and work ethic is beyond reproach. He will work with you and your needs and has payment plans to fit most budgets. Aloha

That depends on the need for bone grafting or not, the type of implant needed and the type of abutment used and the type of crown placed to restore the implant.
