Knives, Knives, Knives So many knives. There are more knives here then I have ever seen. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They really know their stuff. They also have quite a bit of historical artifacts. I picked up some Confederate money, I thought that it was reasonably priced.

This is a man cave on steroids!!! Every kind of knife and brand you can imagine upstairs and a full gun store with ammo and accessories on the ground floor. There is everything here for the whole family to see as far as a toy/section for kids and cooking/kitchen and home decor items. There are tons of historic memorabilia to see and buy and lots of taxidermy/stuffed animals through out the various floors. There is also an animatronic stage downstairs with a singing bear, raccoon, and hound dog😂.

Very good prices and quality knives. Huge selection. You can easily spend 2 hours or more looking around at all the different knives and down stairs has kitchen and cooking merchandise. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend the condor knives for quality and great price
Absolutely, you can get them in the store or you can go online and request one through their website. Once you get on their mailing list they'll keep sending you catalogs as long as you order from them.
They usually would have free catalog's @ The Smoky Mountains Knives store/Museum. Look them up on Google maps it gives you info of the place Plus phone #.I hope this helps.
Yes. My husband and I work fire/ems and get our duty pants there. They have 511's but my husband really likes the Tru-Spec tactical pants. They're cheaper than the 511's and have held up just as well. Hope this helps!
Gerber sells more than one machete. The Gator is about 25.5" long. The steel it is made from is not available. Reviews are all over the scale. Given the significant deterioration in Gerber China produced products, I interpret this to indicate very sketchy HT and worse QC. You might get lucky and get a serviceable one, but I believe the chances of you purchasing junk is much higher. Cold Steel has similar models. I own several and I am happy with them. I also on a Condor Golok which is 5x as much, but IMNSHO, at least 100x better. I would not keep this if it was given to me.
I hope this helps.
Per Smoky Mountain Knifeworks: While we allow pets, because we sell food you will have to carry it either in your arms or in a stroller, the only exception to this is service dogs.
Per Trip Advisor: Claiming to be the largest knife showplace in the world, Smoky Mountain Knife Works is a must-see: packed to the gills with knives of every description and purpose, not to mention an impressive menagerie of mounted taxidermy. The National Knife Museum includes not only knives from across history but swords and related objects, while there are literally thousands of blades available for purchase in the store itself. As it happens, you can bring a dog inside as long as it’s carried or transported in a pet stroller.
Knife Works is a big place, that sells alot of different types by alot of different brands, im not sure, who would have them, you would have to look through all counters there
SMKW is unique in that they also purchase collections of rare vintage knives. They may buy it from you but will have to call them to find out for sure?
The best answer would be to call before you go out there and ask someone.there
There does not seem to be a lot of unused parking spots the store but there.are lots of parking area in TBE stores adjacent to them
I bought 4 Boker knifes back in Nov. Salesman said they were made in Soligin. When I started to wrap them the box say made in china? I would never pay that for anything made in china

This is not really a question so much as an observation.

Call them and ask. This is not seen or answered by employees of the store.

They carry wooden ones that look like ladders. I have looked and not found clear plastic ones.
Do you buy pocket knives or kitchen knives? We have an assortment of different knives that are close to 50 years old. Do you purchase knives and what is the procedure to get them to you if you do buy back.

They don't.
Do you guys do machine gun rentals?
Asher Jensen | Sep 3, 2021
Smoky Mountain Knife Works | Sep 3, 2021
Asher, its our sister company Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo that sells guns, but to my knowledge they do not do any type of rentals. They can be reached on their site www.smga.com.

I am sure if they don't, they have something comparable.
Why do you only partiality sharpen your knives now? 10 years ago you couldn't leave the store with a knife that was sharp enough for surgery?
Lance Gunter | Sep 3, 2020
Smoky Mountain Knife Works | Sep 3, 2020
Lance, while personnel has changed in 10 years, we take our knife sharpening seriously. I'll pass on your feedback but I recommend letting us know in store if you have a knife sharpened and its not up to par.

Nedardo Perales | Sep 3, 2020

Stanley, we have been in the process of rolling out charging sales tax for states that require it since the Supreme Court made its ruling that the States could force retailers to charge out of state sales tax online.
(Also to clarify, we are not charging our tax rate for out of state orders, but the rate for your state, if your state requires us to charge sales tax.)
I live in Saint Louis. Does your store recognize MO's constitutional carry permit. Been there once while visiting Gatlinburg. The store itself is worth an out of state visit. Almost as many firearms as blades . Then all the other gear besides.

While we do not specifically recognize another state's carry laws. We allow open carry or closed carry of a firearm in our store and just ask that if you have your firearm out, whether to check the fit of a holster your interested in purchasing or handing it to a clerk, (if your interesting is selling, getting new handles, etc) that you remove any ammo from the firearm before doing so.
Our antique/collectibles department just buys knives, however this might be something our sister company Smoky Mountain Relic Room might be interested in. You can contact them here https://www.therelicroom.com/contact
There is no hard and fast range, you can however sort our large selection of pocketknives by price on https://www.smkw.com/ As of 2/15/20 you can buy a folding knife for as little as $1.99 (excludes shipping) or as much $3,699.99. (This changes as we add new product to the store).
We do not offer a knife repair service. Some vendors do offer to repair for a cost, though its mostly just on their newer knives. I don't believe Kissing Crane repairs knives at all but I'm not 100% sure, you'd have to contact them.
I was in there yesterday and tried to buy a gift for my wife and could not because one of your cashier said I could not because the hundred dollars bill I had did not have a pink strip in it.so when did money get a expiration date on
Don't know the prices but the upstairs signs knives hunting things and the basement is everything a woman usually loves to look at. I could stay there for hours between both floors. AWESOME PLACE
The members of military, police, and certain security may ship auto knifes. Benchmade requires a form be filled out proving you’re one of the above. But you can ship autos as long as you’ve got your paperwork.
You could probably call them when they open tomorrow morning and see if they will. Otherwise you may want to look into the warranty on the brand of knife
Depends on where you are shipping to. My last order that I placed arrived within the same week but I am also along the major USPS delivery route. Generaly USPS is around 7 to 10 days give or take and is fast enough for me.
You Can Call & Ask For A Catalog, Or You Can Go Online & Request One That Way & They'll Send It To Ya!! They Have Some AWESOME Sales Where You Can Get Really Good Quality Knives At Great Prices & The Christmas Catalog Is Usually Full Of Great Sales!! They Also Have Really Good Customer Service & They Will Actually Listen To You & Help You Out, These Days That Is An AMAZING Discovery Just By Itself!!
