Looks like we need another call to the department of agriculture. We're back to non-refrigerated non produce locals parking here again. They need a reliable tow service to come in here regularly and start booting these inconsiderate drivers.

I was always under the assumption that State farmers markets was a safe haven for truck drivers coming out of state or in-state drivers to have a place to park get something to eat relax rest take a break, but here at pompano it seems that this parking lot is 85% full of local trucks no one in them cars parked in truck parking spots because the local drive wants to hold his parking spot for when he gets back, and you can go any farmers market in this state and that does not happen. They're using this place as a permanent parking spot for free on a taxpayers dime. And the people that suffer are the out-of-state drivers that need some place to park get something to eat use the bathroom while they're waiting to get their load from here to Miami. I don't know who is in charge this market but they're doing a horrible job and something needs to be done about it he just gotten worse and worse and is out of control. I hear lots of truck drivers talking about how bad it is here can't park there anymore. lots of guys like to come and just stop at Dimitri's restaurant and get something to eat can't do it and now his business suffers because of this problem. SO I hope whoever reads this that works for the State of Florida Agriculture department takes note and comes down here and sees this problem for themselves because at this point right now I can walk around this parking lot and guarantee I could count at least 75 plus trucks not running with no one around with Florida tags on them. Not to mention the trash these guys leave all over the parking lot This is not a free local parking spot! It's a safe haven for agriculture / produce drivers to park and rest.

The market is open for business, but just for commercial vendors. But the restaurant is open to the public. Today, we had the privilege to do a tour inside, learn about the Farmer Market, with the man, Mr Myrick that has the market name. It was a pleasure, to hear his stories about the biggest market for long time in the world.

Parking sucks. Homeless everywhere trying to scam or rob you. Be careful. This place is about the only option if you're delivering produce in the area though.
