Wonderful trail with birding and wildlife. Bikers and hikers enjoy the trail together. There is a horse trail as well. An observation tower is at the end to enjoy the spectacular views

Great park to explore with the family! There are 2 parking lots. Restrooms are located in the parking lot and throughout the preserve. There is a cute butterfly garden, paved trails for walkers, bikers, scooters, or roller skaters. They even have a trail that goes around the perimeter for horses. The preserve has two bridges, plenty of benches to sit and enjoy nature, and even a tower that you can climb. There is a good variety of birds and other wildlife to observe.

One of our best parks in the county. There are two small parking lots that access the trails. I used in parking lot 1, which is the north lot closest to Southern Blvd. The trails are all asphalt or boardwalk. There are numerous benches where you can sit and watch the wildlife. Plenty of varieties of birds and butterflies to see. There are two restrooms on the trail. (Non running water). You will share the walking trail with bicyclists so be aware that sometime can come up on you a bit fast. There is also a great observation tower. The pics that I took begin at the parking lot 1 entrance, go across the boardwalk and back to the tower, back to the dead end, then I follow the trail to parking lot 2 and that exit/entrance.

I've been here several times and it always hits the spot. This time we went rollerblading and we had a blast. Also, climbed the tower and saw about an 8 foot alligator casually swimming in one of the ponds... Beautiful place to watch the sunset as well.

Sign says NO Pets but service animals are welcome, adding the sign to photos. That being said I see leashed dogs ever time I come.
I have seen dogs there but didn't think they were allowed because horses are
There are several miles of very nice paths and boardwalks. They loop and criss cross. A nice place to ride or walk.
There are plaques mounted on stones at various places throughout the preserve. Each with pictures and identifying name.
You can also ride up and down Flying Cow to add mileage
Approximately a half mile (maybe? I'm guesstimating) from the parking lot all the way at the end of Flying Cow.
