This post office just closes randomly now. It says open til 6pm Monday thru Friday, but you can't trust their hours as they have been closing ar random times on random days with no postings and no notice as to why or if there are new hours. Also, if you ship something through them and it goes into a loop around TX with random stops in FL and NY for 6 weeks, don't expect them to be of any help... but then again, don't expect USPS to be of any help in that situation at all anywhere. Other than that, it's your fine average post office.

Saturday, I get to the post office and there is a sign on the door at 11:00am - that only says out to lunch, doors locked. There is no time indicating when lunch is over. I am ringing the bell and being ignored. Finally a postal worker comes out, I knock and he looks at me and points to the sign. I ask, when is lunch over, and he gives me a look and ignores me. I walk out and go to the loading dock, speak to a postal employee who is pulling out in her truck. She stops, leaves her truck in the middle of the lot and tells me she will check. I go back inside, and someone comes to the door and says he is sorry, there is only 1 clerk. I asked what time is lunch over, and he doesn't seem to sure, maybe 12:00pm maybe earlier. This post office is only open 1/2 day on Saturday. This was the worst customer service ever! I will be calling the postmaster on Monday (not sure that it will do anything). But this was ridiculous. I drove back over the bridge to 84th street. 1 hour that could have taken 20 minutes.
