This storage place has really let me down today. I did a contactless rental and called the store earlier and spoke to Nikki and was told my unit would be ready for me. I arrived with my first truck load and the Life Storage company locks were on both doors to my storage unit so I couldn't unload the truck. The office was closed so I called the 24 hour number on the window and after 15-20 minutes on hold I spoke to Lynn who said she doesn't have the ability to transfer me to another unit that is available. I told Lynn I needed to be out of my old place today and that I needed to go back to get the remaining things which would mean I'd need to rent another truck since I can't unload this truck. Then I asked Lynn to speak to a manager or her supervisor and she asked me to hold while she checked if anything else can be done. After a few more minutes she hung up and never called me back. I don't recommend renting from Life Storage and I want a refund for what I paid. I will have to look for another storage unit which is such an inconvenience and on top of that renting a second truck is going to cost me extra money.
