Great experience!!!!! I returned to LenCrafters after trying Stanton Optical. Stanton was fine but just not the same professionalism that you get at LensCrafters. The eye exam is face to face with an optometrist, NOT a virtual appointment with someone in Florida. I went to Escondido CA where Dr Ashlee Rich not only gave me an extensive eye exam but gave me a health screening based on eye health! I walked out in tears from learning I don’t have macular degeneration compared to 5 years ago, my retinas are very healthy, my blood flow indicates no issues with hypertension and the optic nerve looked very healthy!!! I’m 69 years old! Believe me, that meant allot to me! She was so kind, I told the store manager, Nicole, who was very appreciative and said everybody loved her, Then too Vanessa for choosing glasses and fitting to my face. She didn’t do what y places do and let me think every glass i picked looked good. My decision but sheet really helped! Again so kind and patient. They will hate me for saying this, but I got my glasses in 2 days. Andrea presented my glasses, made sure I got what I expected, fitting correctly and getting time vision expectation I wanted. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I thought the pricing was high so I compared to Stanton! Less money at LensCrafters for what i wanted! There was worth every Penny! What a great team Escondido!!!

Absolutely superb service!!! I was so impressed by the staff’s friendliness and incredible efficiency. I simply walked in today asking if someone could adjust my plastic frames so they weren’t pressing on my head and nose as much… The manager took gracious care of me immediately I walked in. They treated me like royalty even though I did not even buy the glasses at LensCrafters and they knew that. 2 Thumbs Way Up!!! 🤩👍🏻👍🏻🤓👓

Mrs. Nicole listened to my statements about my broken Oakley's. After she attempted to fix them with her ability. She patiently continued to listen and look at my points of concern about my glasses. She took them to Mr. Tony, the eye glasses technician. He found a damage part and replaced it. My glasses actually feel like new. The two of them worked as a team. Resulting in a wonderful ending. Thanks so much Nicole for your patience. Most of all continuing to give me the respect and personal attention. Mr. Tony... awesome job!

Awesome experience! I felt like part of the family here. The part everyone is happy to see, not the weird one everybody wishes would stay home. Very professional staff on both the doctor’s side and and when it came time to choose the right pair of glasses. Love, love, LOVE my new Versace glasses with the extra active Transitions lenses! Thanks so much!

What should I bring to my eye exam?

LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021

You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.

Why should I get an eye exam?

LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021

An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.

What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?

LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021

A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 3, 2021

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
