Wasn’t the best experience. First thing after checking in you are invited to a Timeshare event/tour. They were not pushy about it. The staff did try to make things right but in the end it just didn’t work out. The first room we arrived at hadn’t been cleaned, so drive back to the front desk and wait in line. They did send someone to help us move to another room. Our son was to sleep on the pull out sofa, the mattress had a big stain on it, we had to call to get blankets for it, which arrived at 10:35pm. Pull a towel from underneath the sink and it has mold on it. Back to the front desk where they reimbursed our resort fee and gave us Resort Credit. Not knowing how to use that we got instructed by the Front Desk. We were able to use it twice but then the computer system went down for the remainder of our stay which means we barely used any of that perk for the inconvenience. Would have been nice if they just took the remainder off our bill since there was now no way to use it. If the resort credit had been reliable, I would give this place 3⭐️.

This is one of the most beautiful places that my husband and I have ever stayed in. We had a villa in the mountain portion of the resort. Not only was our room absolutely gorgeous and luxurious, with two fireplaces and a fabulous patio, but the pool, waterslide and jacuzzi were fantastic as well. We will definitely stay here the next time we get an opportunity to, and I 100% recommend it for friends and family to visit!

My experience at the Welk has a lot of stuff to describe.. When I got my to my country golf house suite. It was nice like a modern mansion. It had a modern door, you can slide it. Detailed bedroom and detailed kitchen. Detailed dining table and living room. Nice and refreshing pool. Nice activities. Nice balcony view, and nice bathroom. It looked like a Hawaiian Dream resort. Friendly service, and friendly transportation. IF YOU HAVE NO COUNTRY HOUSE, COME TO THIS COUNTRY RESORT!!!

I recently stayed at the Welks Resort on the Greens in the Augusta building. We stayed in a 2 bedroom lock-off. We enjoyed the resort. The rooms are nice and roomy. I posted pictures of the room we had. My kids and I liked it but my husband prefers to stay closer to San Diego. It is a nice place and location. Hopefully he will let us go back in the future.

Yes, there is very fine dining. They also have a pizza place for you to order pizza from and a Starbucks . A boutique also!! Enjoy!!❤
Yes there's a lot of things to do go as the people at the pool area ..they have escape room electric bike you can rent
Yes they do. It varies, they have different options, I would call them directly to get the best information.
You can fish but you have to let them go when you get them out the water.
I didn't see one but there's plenty of room to play there, if they don't have one I wouldn't let that deter you from staying there, it's a wonderful place!!
Every room has a full kitchen. They all have a full size refrigerator with an ice maker.
I believe you can rent clubs in the clubhouse but recommend bringing your if possible
Yes. Still as good as ever. Sale in gift shop. Happy hour. Favorite place to stay in area
No keurig Regular coffee maker
We got a poolside Cabana (totally worth it) and were able to bring our own food. We also got drinks and things from the snack bar, and didn't bring a feast or anything. Maybe discretion was the key.
I wonder if it will be this year as well. 2021???
Salt and pepper are provided, but you might want to remember to bring butter or some sort of cooking oil. There is even a baking pan, full refrigerator with an ice maker (at least that is true of the Villas).
It's the first building/driveway on the right as you arrive, there is a sign at the driveway that says Lobby / Administration Building.
It's normally 4 but if the room is ready they will let you in earlier.
City of Escondido for full supermarket. Little shop at the Welk is limited and pricey.
Menu is a little slim at the moment but I believe it is posted for the guests. They are adding things on a daily basis. You can also pick up a menu at the restaurant
Yes they did hopefully not many changes will occur.
If its from book vip its not a scam. They usually answer always
Yes, according to the letter that welk sent to homeowners recently.
h
I believe so. Appeared to me that many families were rotating through the property while we were there.
Yes all outdoor activities are open
GOOD question . . Next time, take quick action , report to the manager , take a picture and request another room. And ask for your bill to be discounted. This is unexceptable , sorry that happened to you.!!
The on site day spa is not free but currently the hot tub type of spas are unavailable for use
Yes and it's drip coffee. Filters and coffee provided
It depends from 4 to 6 hundred and some 7 ish
There is a Sales office onsite. Different realtors list the mobiles that are for sale. No, is not include it but you have a kitchen with all the appliances to cook a delicious breakfast, just make sure you get your basics to start the day from one of the local supermarket.
No shuttle bus from the Welk Resort to San Diego.
It's around 45 minutes, traffic isnt all that bad...have fun
The rooms were very clean when I was there recently. However, the Avalon villa I was in did have some signs of wear. They could use updating, but it doesn't seem outdated.
My kids enjoyed the drone flying and pretty much lived in the pool area. There is always something for kids there!
Week 25 in the U.S. begins Sunday, June 16th. I hope this is the information you were seeking.
Menu selections change seasonally... better to call them directly.
They have two types of one bedrooms a small one with no tub or washer and dryer and a large one bedroom with a washer and dryer, tub and a fireplace
I was there recently and it's a beautiful spa with a great atmosphere. I believe they rennovated the whole spa. I found their website and menu at the Welk Resort site and through their name Elevate Day Spa. The pricing is typical for a resort spa. I had a manicure and facial and had a really great experience! I would totally recommend
3pm. If you get there early, they have a restaurant, mini market and a gift shop. They will also give you a pass to hang out the pool area.
Sorry. Didn't play golf.
