This company has the NC officials on their payroll so they get away with anything. Go solar if you can and cut them out as much as possible. You still have to be connected to their grid -they made sure you can't leave them out. Would love to see solar energy put them out of business.

The computer system online service like trying to pay my bill is terrible. It makes you register every time you go to pay a bill. I am home bound and this is very frustrating trying to pay online. You really need to have easy access to your account

Customer Service and Executive Management. Would give -10, if I could. Just waited 21 minutes for customer service. Then it hung up!!! I have been trying to resolve an issue with Duke since July 16. Numerous calls. Express letter to CEO. Never heard from CEO's office. And it is still unresolved. They owe me a refund and it has not arrived, even though last week high level concerns customer service said the check is in the mail. We need other options.

Atrocious customer service. Every time I have to change something or set up service they give me the full run around for an hour bouncing me around to different departments and putting me on hold. Then they eventually end by transferring me to one last "department" which is actually just some third party company trying to sell me some other services. When I call any other utility whether it be trash, water, cable, anything, they simply ask for my address and a credit card and I'm off the phone in 60 seconds. If they can do it, you can do it, Duke Progress. Get it together.

No, this is just a business office. To pay you will have to go online or in the sma website of Duke-Energy get their 800 number and pay over the phone.
