Nice park to walk with the family. I enjoyed looking at the animals ππΎπ―The water was great to listen to and watch as we walked.

Just had a photo shoot here and it was one of the best parks I have been to in a while! Super clean, lots of trees and grass areas! The people there are not as friendly, but if you look at the park, itβs definitely worthwhile to go and sit by the creek or read a book on the hills! *lots of dogs on a walk *easy to walk around (ADA friendly) *lots of benches

This is a really nice part of town. Went for a walk this morning. On the riverfront, nice trails, clean. People enjoying themselves, and dogs having a blast.

Wasn't planning to stop here and I just stumbled upon this hidden gem! Nice area with places to sit and enjoy the view of the water. The cascades are gorgeous and the walkways are clear with beautiful murals as well. If I had more time in Denver, I'd spend a whole day here!

People were riding tubes... As for rules we didn't see any
It's free. There's a lot of nice places that would definitely work for a picnic. If you're driving, only need to find a place to park. Some people park at the REI Sporting Goods Store.
No.
Yes
To be honest there's not exactly a lot of parking in the area. There's definitely not a parking lot just for it. The only parking is on the street and it is either 2 hr parking, metered parking, or you can pay to park in a public parking garage somewhere nearby.
They don't as far as I know
No but you can park at Fishback which is even closer than the aquarium and aquarium parking is not free
There are rainbow trout, brook trout, carp and a few other types of fish in there. Depends mainly on what they stock and when, and what part of the river you decide to fish.
Take 15th street westbound through downtown, then turn left on Platte. You will pass REI then the park (and a small parking area) will be on the left hand side.
