Baci Bistro has some of the most authentic Italian bread I have had on the West Coast. The attention to detail they put into the bread carries through the rest of the food on the menu. The portions are generous! Make sure you save room for dessert. You will leave satisfied, with the feeling of money well spent.

This was our first meal after traveling in from the East Coast and it did not disappoint. They brought out a ton of freshly baked warm bread to enjoy when we were seated, and we had the crab cakes as well as the squid ink pasta and the chicken Marsala. Everything was tasty and came out fairly quickly. Plus they have a very extensive wine list to choose from, and the waitstaff are very nice. It does get crowded on Friday nights so be sure to call to make an advance reservation!

Now I haven't tried all the Italian restaurants in downtown Pleasanton but I have been to nonnis and strizzis and this place may be my favorite for dinner. Got the southern Italian spaghetti with steak and it was soooo good. The calamari was a surprise too got the soup of the day and that was really tasty too. The dessert was just the icing on the cake. Will have to come back and try more dishes!

Amazing, our food was SO good and the perfect temperature. Even simple things like the cheese bread were executed perfectly and to a high standard. Great date night spot! My martini was good and we will be back with our friends and family.
