Pho On 74th

First time here, wanted “bun Bo hue- special beef noodle ”, 10 min later was told that they were out, so ordered Hu Tieu do bien -seafood noodle soup” instead ( see pic here) bowl looked yummy, however didn’t taste as good, everything tasted and smelled very fishy. Also ordered appetizer and jackfruit boba- neither tasted to standard. Not sure if bad days overall or our parties too big for restaurant to handle??? There were 14 of us. Want to be fair so contemplating to return or not with just party of two???? Other party foods were mediocre for kids….

The pho tasted different than I’m used to, and I wasn’t a fan. “Double meat” was more like 1.5 meat compared to other places. My daughter loved her Pho so 🤷‍♀️ They only have smoothie Boba but not regular? Seems like it would be easy to offer both? Atmosphere is attractive. Bathroom was FILTHY. Makes me wonder what the other behind the scenes areas are like.

The food was ok but the wait staff are so sorry , My colleague and I were TDY to Denver for a couple of weeks, we come to this place on Sep. 16, 2021. The restaurant post menu on the wall, but when we asking if …I apologize about your bad experience. I believe there has been misunderstanding to some level. I do understand where you are coming from. First I’d like to state that the menu on the wall is due to covid and trying to minimize touching as much as possible. Yes, the font size is small and hard to read. We’re in the process of designing new menus. I apologize on behalf of my staff if you felt like they were giving attitude. Could there been a chance there was just miscommunication? My staff were not born in America, so Vietnamese language is their comfort level. It is really hard to judge someone’s facial expressions of attitude when they are wearing face mask. Second, I want to state or give you idea of our operations. Our staff has 2 period of side work to prepare for lunch rush and dinner rush. So in the morning around 10am and evening around 4pm where they clean and get tables prepared for those rushes. Unfortunately you dined in with us around 7:30pm typically our busiest time for dinner, so yes they could of did a better job of getting the table prepared for you to dine in with us. Again, I apologize about your experience. Wish this wasn’t the case.

Friendly staff, open area, not too crowded. Slow service. I had the combination pad Thai, it was way too sweet for my taste buds. Mixed the fried rice into the pad Thai and it wasn't too bad. Fried rice was tasteful. Only two restrooms, one per gender. May give it another try sometime and check out the other food items.
