SERVICE WAS THE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ON THE CENTRAL AIR SYSTEM - Albert was very professional and explained things very well. I was not happy that the service coverage was reduced. In the prior 6 year's annual maintenance, the serviceman would clean the outside exterior unit by hose and flush the overflow drain in the attic with ammonia or vinegar(not sure which). Neither was done this year. Albert said that should not have been done in the past. It is strange that different service men in each of the prior years did it. As I noted, I believe this is part of normal maintenance to protect the unit, but he just politely said no, it is the customer's responsibility. Now, how would a customer know what to do, we are not knowledgeable to know what to do. Even with the serviceman's annual maintenance, the unit had a major repair 2 years ago that basically required the "guts" to be replaced. Not happy with the service visit this year.

* My technician was wonderful but Sears Home Warranty as a whole is an absolute nightmare. The road to getting this repair done was months long and it was ALL due to the incompetence on the part of Customer Service. Between scheduling the wrong type of repair facility to do my service to scheduling it incorrectly SEVERAL TIMES to being given the run around and being disconnected when trying to fix the incorrectly scheduled repair and have it fixed so the technician could actually do the service, I have never experienced this much stress and grief trying to get work done in my home. 5 calls to customer service, 2 of them disconnected with no call back and finally being told I would have to reschedule for the 3rd time a month out due to their mistake, I was nearly in tears, and I will be certain to tell everyone I know that getting this warranty is a HUGE mistake.

The Technician was respectful, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained what the steps he took in repairing my stove. He is a resourceful worker because he carried the item in his work bag, the job took at least 30 minutes. He told me of the company's discount on the price if I buy their warranty program, which I accepted. He told me that Sear's warranty covers all my kitchen electronics and explained what it covers. Thank You Sears your still the best

After 3 months of trying to get A&E to repair our range pursuant to our Best Buy Geek Squad protection, I thought today might be the day. I was wrong. They scheduled service between 8 and 12. At 11:30, I called and asked where the technician was. They said I was the next stop. At 2:45 I called again. They said I had be rescheduled for 3 to 5 same day. Really, no one told me? I called again at 4:30 and asked where the technician was. After being told the technician was on his way, I asked to speak to a manager. She told me that they had cancelled my appointment in the morning because the tech was overbooked. No one called me to tell me that and when I called them - they simply lie. This place is a clown show.
