Pleasant garden with walking paths throughout and nice variety of of plants which are identified. With many shaded areas a good place to enjoy the outdoors during a hot summers day. Also a very nice Koi pond with very large specimens

Came here on a mildly warm, cloudy day; ran into a few Sprinkles, which made for a magical experience. Lots of info on plants found throughout the state. Currently there is a Fairy House exhibit, which was quite enjoyable. I recommend bringing a camera with extra batteries. Worth the small entrance fee.

visited during their winter garden glow event. breathtaking lights, fire pits to keep you warm, very well organized with 1 way walking, very helpful and friendly volunteers to help guide you. Free hot chocolate and cookies was another added perk. parking seemed a bit chaotic despite the parking attendants beat efforts to guide people. A bit pricy at 15$ per person but still a must checkout during the holiday season.

A beautiful place! Most of the plantings are well signed. There are so many different areas and all of them interesting it's almost impossible to see in one visit. For local people it is definitely one of Boise's best treasures. My wife and I live in an area that has many trails and one leads to the botanical gardens so we go there on a hike very often. It's wonderful!

Yes, but you have to be willing and able to walk.
Off to the side. First parking lot. You'll see an enter exit sign and a little hut.
Yes, I just brought a picnic into the Sheryl Crow concert.
Definitely, there are picnic tables or you could just set up in one of the grassy areas.
Yes
I recommend calling or go ogling the local ada county chamber of commerce to see what's available.
There is a small parking area that is gravel but for larger concerts everyone parks along the road on Warm Springs or the side streets. Allow lots of time before larger concerts.
You can choose from hour long blocks and have to do it online in advance. Just go to website, search for particular event, choose a day and time. I don't know how early they start, but the last round is at 8:30, when I went
There is accessible parking, but the whole parking lot is a little ways away from the entrance.
Yes, they're open everyday
Hope the info paper I dropped today was ok. Met a desk clerk and she seemed interested in my paper on elements of a western.
I do not think so
There is no permanent concert stadium at the gardens. When I visited, staff were removing extensive temporary seating from a recent event. You could call for details about your event.
I have never booked a party at the garden. Look at their website or call parks and rec. Depending on the size of said party it may not cost anything. If it's larger you may need a permit and pay a fee
You can't bring in alcohol.
Thanks for the info Cliff. Seeing Nathaniel Rateliff at Outlaw soon and would love to bring some good food.

Usually 530 its so hot out there is a little bit of shade on the member entry side
Thank youu! Do they have shaded areas? I guess it will be too hot!
I saw benches to sit on .
I am going to say a big yes to this question even though I have not done so myself. Seems like something is always going on and I have seen weddings under way.
The gardens Bloom throughout the year. There are various plants that bloom in the summer, others that bloom in the spring and some that bloom in the fall.
Yes it will be cool.
Usually 1 hr before show for garden members then they let general in after
Some of the major concerts have free shuttle buses. I enjoy taking the one that picks up in front of HaPenny at 8th Streetarketplace.
No
I'm sorry I've never been to their concert I would assume since they seat you in The Big Field that they have sections roped-off for the prices that's my best answer
