The lazy two hour float down the river is one of my favorite things. You can walk back or bus to the start. Don’t forget to lift your butt when going through the rapids!

Critical start point for floating the Deschutes thru Bend .. park at McKay and walk or shuttle to Riverbend to start the 45+ min float to the white water at McKay and then be done or float on for another 45+ min to Drake and take the shuttle back to McKay. Shuttle is $5 to $6 for BOTH trips with you own gears or $25 for shuttle and tube and PFD rental

Come jump in. The water is fine! This park has an awesome green space, public bathrooms, and a boat ramp for your kayaks and SUP boards. Also right along the river trail if you want to go for a walk or run.

I really like this park. Parking is adequate and available nearby. Easy access to the river. There is plenty of grass and open space for frisbee and a picnic as well as benches. The walkway loops around through the Old Mill and provides lots to see along the way. Good restrooms. Art to visit. I made some infrared images to go with this as well.

Hi Erin, you need to submit your question to Google, not the location. Sorry!
Yes. There is a fenced off dog park along the river at this park.
Hi Sherry, Bend has several dog off-leash areas in local parks. You could take your dog to Big Sky, Discovery Park, Riverbend Park, Ponderosa Park, Bob Wenger Memorial Off-Leash Area at Pine Nursery Park, Hollinshead Park, Overturf Butte Reservoir and Awbrey Reservoir. Thanks!
I dont know about the park and float, but tumalo kayak and canoe has a stand at the park itself that you can buy items like waterproof pouches. They have quite a few floating related items and rentals there.
