Stopped in to take in the calm of beginning spring and the calming flow of the Deschutes River. The solid and spacious picnic tables (we are of substantial frame) were a welcome place to eat our lunch. Wrapped in the sounds of nature, with occasional traffic intrusions, gave us the opportunity to relax and recharge from expending the energy to deal with society. Spend time with someone you care for. (Can be yourself)

Nice park in the city... great paved walking paths along the Deschutes is calming and beautiful.

Beautiful park with lots of shade and gorgeous views of the river and a nice path to walk along. There are flower gardens with benches to relax and enjoy the day. We were able to play frisbee in the large grassy areas. Great place to picnic as well.

This is one of my favorite places in bend. It's a beautiful place for picnics or parties. It's right by downtown and all in all just another awesome spot in Bend:) (although you cannot go into the river here) but! It does have a river veiw!

Questions & Answers

Is the park and pavillion area accessible for parking and wheelchair use? How far from parking to pavillion?

It is all in one tight little area and the parking area is almost unrecognizable because it is just 4 spots in a square in a circle area
