I have lived here for over 10 years, have looked at similar housing in our area and can say this is the best kept, nicest place of the bunch. I am the President of the Board of Directors and take great exception to the comments by one of the reviews posted here and would like to address some of the issues put forth by her and one other. We are a unique Rural Housing and Urban Development( RHD) project in that we have a Board appointed by tenants ( they are voted in for 3year terms by the tenants not hired) we are volunteers and tenants. We go by the Roberts Rules of Order for small Boards. The banging of the gavel happened once when a tenant was yelling and being disruptive, tenants have complained about this woman doing this at every meeting by the way. As President it is my job to hold order and that is what I attempted to do, as I am only human and not perfect I did yell back, perhaps not the best way to handle situation but I was told later by many tenants that they appreciated me trying to get this constant yelling to stop. As to management, we had one property management company sell their business to another, not our fault. That company started off okay but eventually we started having problems with them in regards to overspending, hiring managers that abused and intimidated our senior and disabled tenants and other issues, so when it came time to renew their contract we chose not to renew. There are many rules and paperwork that go along with this type of housing many are in place by RHD and have to be followed to remain subsidized. Every tenant is given a lease and ground rules to read before they move in , the lease is pretty much set by RHD and fairly standard to other apartment leases, if they don't like these rules they should not have moved in in the first place. This is a nice place to live and many tenants are caring, but there are a few who don't appreciate what they have, or get mad if they don't get their way. As the saying goes you can't please all the people all the time. It is in my opinion the best apartments of this kind in Lincoln County. Side note: Our new management company is doing great and have only been with us a short time.

Poor management. This property has a Board. This board is made of residents. All of the board needs to be replaced. They are a bunch of angry ladies. The meetings become a yelling match .

Its a great place, it has nice easily accessible apartments for seniors.There was laundry facilities and a gathering room with lots off amenities. My grandmother lived there for years and loved how close it was to every place she needed to go because she had quit driving shortly after she moved in.
