I was visiting Bend from out of town and received a nasty cut on my arm from a rusty public trash receptacle. After checking with my provider at home I was told I needed a tetanus booster within 48 hours of the injury. I found High Lakes online. Making the appointment was very easy. A nurse made a phone contact within the hour of making the appointment. I was seen quickly and given the booster. The RN was very educational in telling me what I could possibly expect. The front desk staff were very friendly snd efficient. I’m in Bend frequently for long periods of time. I will make High Lakes my place to go when I need medical attention.

Really great experience. While everyone is focused on when to get which Covid vaccine, etc, etc, I needed, of all things, a TDaP booster after injuring my hand. They were able to get me in and out; everyone was friendly, reassuring and informative, and I got to chat with my neighbor who works there! This is health care that’s truly grounded in our community.

This is an awesome urgent care center. I was able to make an appointment online, fill in all my patient information online, and provide them with my insurance card. By the time I got there, all I needed to do was make my co-pay. I was seen very quickly, but was not rushed through the appointment. I highly recommend this urgent care center.

I’ve always had positive experiences at High Lakes Urgent Care. The staff in reception and patient intake have been pleasant and efficient and the doctors caring and knowledgeable. I would especially like to commend Dr. Eric Sorenson. Besides attending to my urgent care needs, he did a comprehensive exam and helped me to understand a chronic issue and how best to address it. Highly recommended!
