I have to say the Dallas V.A. is the worst care I have ever received. I am visiting from Minnesota were I go to the Minneapolis V.A., the best care I have ever received and had to go to the emergency room at a local hospital 3 weeks ago where I was given an referral for urgent follow up care. That was 3 weeks ago and have made zero progress at getting the follow up care. I need. I even told them I suffer from severe anxiety and am having a hard time coping and the issue was never even discussed. I don't even know what to say at this point except that I am trying to find outside care. 10/26/22 Had an appointment with the Dallas VA eye clinic trying to get treatment for MGD, severe dry eye disease. Was told Dallas VA does not have capabilities to treat me and I should seek care at Waco or Temple. So instead of giving me community care so I can get treatment locally they want me to drive two hours so I can hopefully get treatment there. I had community care in Minnesota from the VA and never had any issues. I will never go back to the Dallas VA for anything. That place is a train wreck.

Received txt appt notification on 2nd fl clinic 16, actually clinic 16 is on first floor and not listed on signage. Seemed to provide reasonable exam process. Lab seems to be understaffed; it used to take about 2 hours to get blood draw, new area takes longer. Kiosks seem to be down all over, this causes more work for admins! Display screen did not work in lab, if it displayed number it might eliminate confusion on which number called. Last month I had to get a congressman to act because audiology phones were going to different labs, web site appointment and RX were not working, operators could not call audiology.

I would assume after the employees who want it receive their second dose. Probably within the next few weeks.
It can be difficult to park depending on the time you arrive at the Hospital. But if you have a Handicap tag, The Disabled Veterans tag, or a Purple Heart tag you can go through the Valet thats at the Main Entrance.
Just call your local va
