Marbles is a must for any family with kids. This place has something for all ages including adults. From toddler areas to learning how to use tools, it is even fun for the adults in the group. Today we attended a birthday party. Marbles has a great set up for events in an entirely separate building from the actual museum. The party encompasses three separate rooms that were filled with activities for kids. After cake and presents, the party is invited into the museum for some more crazy fun. In addition to the museum they have a small gift shop to explore as well. They have a limited selection of food if you get hungry as well. Another major plus is the IMAX theater that is located here as well. This is a full day event if you want it to be and is definitely worth spending the day at!

It's been about 5 years since I've been to this place. My husband and I decided to bring our youngest since she's never been and I must say, we had a blast. When we resided in North Carolina, we visited numerous times for my oldest daughter and I am very confident to say this is the best kids museum we've ever been to. The kids museum in Indianapolis, IN is much bigger with at least 4 floors and a room dedicated to Barbie; however, Marbles is a lot more interactive which my kids look forward to when visiting these types of places. I believe they're favorite part was the science Kids Grid room but my favorite was the outdoor garden lol 😆. I'm glad to share these experiences with people on google maps! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very clean. Masks required, which is great!! This is probably the best kids museum/activity center I've ever been to. My son is 2 and we could have easily spent 4 hours here. In two hours, we almost almost everything (but we were chasing our little guy all over). 5 stars all the way. We will be back - many more times!

I wish I could give more stars here, this place deserves it. Absolute fun for the kids of any age. Loads of toys, variety of plays spread across a two-storey building. Any kid would have a blast. Tickets prices are fair, ample public parking spots around the vicinity. A must visit place for the kids.

A good selection of educational and novelty toys, but not cheap. Small discount for museum membership holders.
Yes. It's called the Pogo Cafe and it's located across the courtyard by the IMAX theater.
Yes. There are lots of 2 year old appropriate activities and areas.
My daughter is 8 going on 9 soon and she loves this place. The second floor is more for older kids. But again its how your kids play, imagine and discover things.
Kids of all ages are welcome. I am grown and have just as much fun as my daughter whenever I take her!
The website they also have birthday group packages
It will be fine
John, We don't have a child-specific movie membership. Our Marbles Movie Membership includes 50% off all films - both full-length features and documentaries, which means children who frequent our documentaries can see them for $2.50! Marbles Movie Memberships start at $29: http://www.imaxraleigh.org/MovieMembership
You would have to contact them directly as I do not believe that is public informtion but I'm sure someone there would be happy to answer your question.
Collections, no. However, they do use them for some decorations and sell some in their store.
Children and adults are $7, under one is free.
Yes there's a lot of age appropriate for 1 year old. Everything is hands on. I suggest you go during school hours or school days when there is no track in that there won't be overstimulation. Wonderful hands on
For 5 years old at least 4 hours.
9 bucks a person I believe
Not sure you could call and the information
Yes, admission is per person (under 1 free) and is $9/person
Prices are same for adults and kids- 9$
Hello, $ 9 children over 2 years old and adults
Just went the other day and reservations are required. You can make them online.
You have to buy the tickets online in advance
Yes! We'll be open from 10am-5pm.
Plan to be there for about 4-5 hours if you want your child to try and enjoy each section but it can easily become over 6 hours depending on how much they play in each section. There are also additional activities that may be going on (Future Me and other activities) and also add additional time for the Imax theatre.
http://www.marbleskidsmuseum.org/ The parking lot located directly behind the museum and IMAX building has increased its price to $3 per hour. This applies on the weekend. Per the Marbles Website: Food and drinks are not allowed in the play areas or exhibits. You are welcome to bring food to eat in the courtyard or at a table in Marbles Corner Store. Snacks and beverages, including fresh coffee beverages, can be purchased at Marbles Corner Store, at the IMAX concessions stand in the theater lobby and at our café. The IMAX concessions stand features fresh movie popcorn, candies, soda and bottled water. The café features fun, flavorful choices for the whole family for lunch. Café hours are Mon-Fri 11am-3pm and Sat-Sun 11am-4pm.
The website calendar says the museum/playspace is closed but that the IMAX is open and showing Frozen 2. (2019)
I agree with the age range 1-12 years. Your 8 year olds will love it
Not that I know of. But never hurts to ask
No, there is no general area where you would really be able to leave you kid with other Marbles employees unless you have signed them up for a certain Marbles camp. Otherwise, it is not offered
Admission is $6 with military ID:. https://www.marbleskidsmuseum.org/plan-your-visit
No they dont care. You just have to make sure you keep yp with the kids you are watching
The only arrangement in advance I am aware of is for groups. Groups are not allowed on mondays and there must be a 6:1 child to adult ratio.
There are snacks available in the gift shop and hot food available at the Marbles Cafe.
Yes your child is old enough for any activity at the facility but about wic... not sure. They mey have discount tickets for different times or special activities.
7.50 for children under 1 years free and adults
No it's fine
A 13 year old might enjoy some of it, but I'd say it's more geared for 10 and under.
I think the 14 year old will be highly dependent upon personality, the 6 year old most definitely I think, and 11 year old probably? If you go Thursday after 3 is like 3 bucks a person
$250 is the premier membership including many different activities $160 annual membership for a family of 4 same household whatever difference that makes plus a visitor. Hope this helps
Not often. :( They have a weekly rotation of what gets cleaned. I assumed that things were at least sprayed daily, but i had to ease my mind after last years flu epidemic. Their answer surprised me! (Now, we only go to Marbles in the months that don't end in "ER" or "Y"). Lol
We got the membership. it was around 150 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a year.
Yes! Keep your stickers on and they'll let you back in. I put them on my little ones back when we go so they can't pull them off 😉
Spent $22 for my two girls and I to go play. If you love in the area, i recommend the membership because at that price after five visits it's paid for.
Free. Just paying for extra amenities such as the gift store etc.
$7 for anyone over 1. $2 after 4:30 on Thursdays.
Yes. We were told to only eat them in certain areas which was not a problem.
$5 per person, or $100 for a year membership for the entire family residing at one address
$5 can't remember the age limit but our 4 year old still paid $5
Yes. You can have birthdays here. Try checking the website for pricing.
