Robert and his crew did another excellent job for me today! Even though the packing crew in Louisiana did a terrible job of packing up my items and hardware, they worked to find the pieces and get all of my furniture put back together well. They made sure the wrapping was off before they left and were fun to have around! I’ll be moving again in a year and will be looking for Robert and his team for the next move!

The Pod arrived at our new place and we had to force the door open. The contents were strewn everywhere inside the pod. My couch, which had been wrapped in moving plastic had shifted to the point where the couch caught on the pod and the fabric was ripped. Both nightstands, queen footboard, end tables, coffee table, dining chairs and computer desk were broken in the move. We had hired movers to load the pod and we both witnessed the packing and it was done correct. Well, I took pictures of the interior of the pod before we moved anything and then took pictures of the broken items. After finally being able to get someone on the phone, they said someone else would have to contact me about filing a claim. When that finally happened it was several days later. Once I filled out the claim, I waited nearly a month for a reply for Pods to “complete their investigation.” I had to keep all the broken items in my garage since you have to keep the items in case they wanted to inspect the items, which they never did. The best part, they waited until almost 7pm to send the email basically telling me, not our fault, redirect your claims to the mover. Which I’m sure the moving company would be receptive to a claim on something that was moved more than 30 days ago, since I had to wait for pods to do their part. It literally would have been cheaper and less stressful to use a Uhaul or sell everything and buy all new, since I have to do that anyhow on top of paying for a Pod and now having to pay someone to haul off all this broken furniture. FIRST AND LAST TIME USING. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Customer "service" is only available via phone to a call center or web chat. Attempts to get help a dozen times over 3 weeks took multiple hours - I was never less than #80 in the call center queue or less than a half hour waiting in chat. They apparently lost our container en-route to Colorado from NC. They finally delivered 2 weeks late and only after two scheduled & confirmed deliveries with no-shows. I was told a different story as to where it was or why it wasn't delivered by every single person I talked or chatted with. Multiple stories were directly in conflict with each other so they couldn't have been true. I was told they would pay costs associated with their delays because it was their fault by multiple people. I was assigned someone to process my claim for living expenses incurred since all of our stuff was in the POD. After providing the requested information that person has ignored every email and phone call. Despite their inability to deliver it as scheduled and we hustled to empty it, they failed to pick it up before the end of the month and so charged me for an additional month even though they told me they wouldn't. Lying to customers seems to be the company's motto. I will never use them again and will discourage anyone I know who considers them from using them as well. I have rarely encountered a more dishonest and difficult company to do business with once the sale was made. Do not use PODS!

I called this company in January 2021 to book one of their moving containers to move my things form Minneapolis to North Carolina (Winston Salem) at the time the prices were a bit high so I was told to call back in March and I did. I booked the 16 foot container for a May 28 move, the price was 2400 and the agent told me that the money was going to come out of my account in instalment. The first payment was to come out of my account when they drop off the container, the next when they pick it up and the final payment when I get my stuff delivered. I confirmed my address with them several times, shipping and billing address is the same so this company had my address. On 05/24/2021, the day for the container to be dropped off someone called me from Ohio telling me they cannot find my house, I told them I live in Minnesota and they hung up the phone; then the nightmare began. I called the PODS and asked that they send me another container. They told me they didn't have any available until 06/15/2021, and there is nothing they can do about it. But they charged my card the full amount without providing any service. They told me it takes 7-10 business days for my money to be returned. They had my billing address right to take my money but not to deliver my container. I had given my notice to my town home and they knew that I was moving out on May 28. It was Pack and load that came to my rescue and they helped me to get another moving company that cost more (2,745). The truck was too small for my things so I had to rent a Uhaul for 2,226, pay for gas for this truck $394, also pay $650 for my car to be transported to me. I have been calling them for almost a month and no one to call me back. They give me a case # but I think it's fake. I see this is the only way they can hear people out, this is so sad. This is a HORRIBLE company to do business with, be warned. They are not reliable at all, staff is very rude. I will not wish this on my enemy. They left me in some serious debt. HORRIBLE company, BE WARNED!

It depends on the size of the unit, and if you store it at your place or if they pick up and store it. I had a 12' unit. Drop off and first month stored at my property was around $165. They charged another $120 or so to move to my new home and then about $70 to pick up the empty unit. You can get a free quote online at their website. I was very pleased with the entire experience.
