Our pod was supposed to be delivered 6 days ago. We called the day before delivery to confirm and was told it would arrive at the necessary warehouse between midnight-2am and be ready for delivery. THAT was a lie. We are now on Day 7 of calling the company daily to find out where on earth our pod even is. They can't track the pod, can't even get a hold of a human in warehouse locations to check to see if the pod is there. This is a complete nightmare. We literally moved to the state in which this company operates out of and they still can't get us the answers we need.

Day 3: The escalation team keeps hanging up on us, offering zero resolution. Even escalations has been unable to contact the facility directly to get an answer as to why our container hasn’t been delivered yet. They’re now saying our container can’t be delivered until late next week. When it’s literally 30 minutes away from our address. Please, please DO NOT use this company. They offer NO resolution for delivery issues, and they can’t even manage their facilities. Update: Day 2, we’ve been lied to all day saying our container was on the way and would be delivered today. It’s now 9 PM, no container, and no one has been able to reach the facility or the driver. Our experience with 1800PACKRAT has been awful. It started decently, with our empty container being delivered and our full container being picked up on time. However, it’s been atrocious trying to get our full container delivered to our new address. Our full container was supposed to be delivered yesterday to NC (the same state where the company is based so you’d think service would be good, but nope), and they never delivered it. No updates, no communication, nothing. We sat around all day waiting on it to be delivered and never received a phone call. We lost money on movers that we hired because they had to be on standby all day. My husband took off work and I bought a plane ticket to come help set the new house up, so now we are out that money as well. Communication has been TERRIBLE. We’ve called customer service four times, and no one has been able to give us an answer as to when our container will actually be delivered. They’ve tried to contact the Greensboro facility directly, and that facility will not answer the phone. So now we don’t know where our container is or when it will get here. We’ve been given the runaround, and it’s extremely frustrating. How can your own company not contact its own facilities nor manage what’s going on? We just want our stuff. It’s to the point that we’re considering getting a moving truck and unloading the container at the facility ourselves. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Please read reviews and don’t believe positive ones from this company. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

I ordered this container due to its price compared to a traditional storage unit. Upon delivery from one location to the next the driver was nice and helpful, but dented the container and shifted all my items, upon delivery from my rental house to my new house the driver went to the wrong address for pick up, damaged the container on the lift gate (which was hard to open After) and faced the container the wrong way as I requested. And now I’m waiting 2 days passed the scheduled date for final pick up with HOURS ON HOLD. And I mean Literal HOURS. Very bad service start to finish. Each leg of my rental since February has had some sort of issue. It’s important this container is gone due to other projects needed at the house. Still not picked up after 3 calls to the service department

Had an extremely positive experience with this moving company. The lady I spoke to in the beginning was very sweet and professional. Didn’t feel like she was pushing me to buy anything I didn’t need.
