They give excellent care to my pets. Dr. Hothem is very kind and great with animals. Thank you so much for care of our Goober!

I used Dr Hotham for years. And just loved that man. He was so gentle with the animals he served. And my little Cav King Charles Spaniel just loved him. He was so considerate of both owner and animal. I lost my Cav a number of years ago. Up until then I had had dogs for 70 years. But have never replaced the last one I lost. My husband has 02 lines running all over the house and I was leary of trying to puppy break an animal to stay away from them. And there never could be a replacement for my Maggie. Oh how I still miss her. She was special. Thank you Dr Hotham and your wonderful staff. Betty Ackerson

Had appointments for a cat and two dogs today. The were very thorough with their examinations. The final appointment of the day was our 13 year old husky had to be euthanized! Everyone there was kind and helpful. The most important was the care they gave to us all. Very kind and considerate. The made a very difficult situation easier for us. Thank you for your care all the way around.

I had taken in a kitten (roughly 7-8 weeks) from an unkept, unoccupied home. He showed up with both eyes swollen and crusted shut. His little body was covered in fleas and he was pooping out worms. I called to get an appointment, I was scheduled a week out on a Thursday afternoon. That’s fine. I planned to do what I could at home to help relieve some of his issues. I, also, requested the afternoon off from work to make sure I could take him to his scheduled appointment. The day before his appointment I called to ask if I could call, Friday morning, the very next morning to pay what needed to pay for his visit. I was advised that wasn’t an option, so I offered to leave them with my card information and they could run it the next morning. Nope. I get it, you want your money, as we all do. But, A. I wasn’t offered an appointment until a week after calling, so I went out and spent money on OTC medications to help him get through the week. B. I wasn't going to NOT pay. I requested to call the next morning and/or was willing to leave my card information to run the payment. C. I too have to work and requesting another afternoon/morning off, on a whim, isn’t an option. Now I sit here with a sick kitten. I guess being an honest person has it’s fall backs. What would have happen if I brought him in and just said I couldn’t pay at the end of his appointment?

We have 2 Labs, a cat, and a horse. Hothams does a great job with all of them. They provide all services.
I believe their standard well check visit alone is $70, just had our (established) pup get up to date on vaccines and 4 month visit and it was $118. I would expect to spend at least $130 on a first appointment and well check with vaccines.
It cost us almost 100 bucks to have our female spayed.
