There pizza is a typical NY style pizza. Very consistent. Three stars is the pizza not a big fan of the remainder of the menu. They concentrate on the pizza, which is good if that’s what your coming here for.

If you can't tell by my reviews. "I like pizza,alot." (Multiplicity) Ive been eating Sals pizza for 28 years since there derry location opened up. I worked right next door and had they're slices (which is 1/4 of the 19" pizza) i love the dough used. Crusty bubbles with a Italian bread type of bite. High quality ingredients make a great pie. I get the same quality at several of the restaurants. Consistency is key when there is multiple restaurants. Sals also has food trucks that come to you. I'd would inquire about that.

The pizza itself deserves 4 stars, but the rest of the experience is 1 star. I know the XL pizza is big, but $4.25 for a meat topping is a bit much, even for this economy. I ordered a medium specialty pizza with extra sauce. Mind you, I order my pizza with extra sauce at every pizza establishment I go to, my whole life. This is the only place ever that extra sauce has even been charged as a full topping (I've gotten a 50 cent charge before). On a medium pizza, that's $3.00, and you couldn't tell if there was hardly any sauce on there, much less $3.00 worth of extra sauce. Over $20 for a medium pizza is a bit extreme. I forgot when this happened once a few months ago, but I won't forget again, since I won't be coming back. If you want a cheese pizza, enjoy, if you want any toppings, be prepared to pay out the nose...

Be on the look out their delivery driver will write in his out tip. I ordered a pizza from sals on 2-3-2022 left a gratuity when I paid for the order over the phone. checking my account the next day there was an additional $6.00 added to the bill, I called to inform the manager of this and after two phone calls later he agreed to pay me back the money, it is now 2-19-22 and still have not received a reimbursement. the manager stated he would send the money when he made his next delivery to where I live. I live in a condo complex with 200 + units I wonder how many pizzas have been delivered since 2-4-22 ??? sounds like a job for the police.
