I've been shopping here since I moved to the area 20 years ago. I know where everything is, the quality is reasonable, prices are competitive among big box stores, selection is decent and they took out the scales at self checkout so they are actually usable again.

Went to this Home Depot today, went to exchange a propane tank and went home to start grilling, the grill wouldn’t turn on so I thought since the grill was old it was the grill. So I went and bought a new grill to start. Come to find out the propane tank they gave me earlier that day was empty. I then went back after purchasing the grill and they told me they couldn’t give me propane because they “ran” out. so I go get a propane tank at CVS. Upon returning home and turning the grill on finally, I realized that the grates in the grill and shields, half of them were missing. So now I’m driving to Home Depot for the 4th time today. What I thought would be one trip and enjoy my Sunday by the pool and grill took me 3 hours due to nobody helping me at this location. It took 4 people to talk to, to give me any kind of help or compensation and still had trouble. Worst experience of my life and I would like to be compensated for the hassle as well as the time it took me to get something so simple that turned into a whole day event.

I was going to give 1 start but because the Pro Desk and Manager were so accommodating trying to fix what seems to be an internal process issue with delivery of material. Having a deck built at home and personally went into pro desk to ask that all material be delivered at once. Slider Door came right from Manufacturer, did not need until June 1st received 18th. All material but the twenty bags of concrete delivered on the 21st. When you are putting in Tubes for concrete which is usually the first step outside of digging the holes should not you have the concrete delivered first? Showing in stock at 3 locations, their system said, "Delivery for the 23rd” and now it is "Delivery for the 24th". Pro Desk said it will be delivered at 3:00 PM. Who gets to pay for the contractors to sit and wait for concrete? Exactly... All I heard was "we can't control the delivery it pulls from whatever store has the material". Home Depot Corporate best get their act together because here is a thought on inventory control verses the expense to drive material: coordinate from a central Home Depot location and deliver in one shipment per the customer's request. Might just save on driver, gas, and truck expense.

Went to get a storm door. Our condo requires a certain door and handle. We could order the door but the handle said it was not available! The clerk was new so she got another one who had been there longer. She called the supplier and was informed that the store was as not ordering that specific handle anymore! She then special ordered it for us!
