I've lived here for about a year and really love this place and the area! So much green space for my dog, so many places to eat, and I barely have to drive because everything that I need is here in the neighborhood. The only thing is that the floors are quite thin, so I always hear my upstairs neighbor and also-since there are so many restaurants attached to us, we hear fire alarm tests quite frequently. I know that isn't the apartments fault though. Their maintenance is very fast and even if they come when you aren't home, they never leave any trace behind except for the fixed appliance/issue that they took care of-so that's awesome.

I have lived in a lot of apartments, and Maa National Landing is by far one of the best! Luxury in every sense of the word. When it comes to management, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing they are. Dahra the Manager is the most considerate, accommodating Manager you will every encounter. Kevin the Assistant Manager is so thoughtful/ considerate. Every time I had an issue ( which was not often) in my apartment maintenance was on it in a matter of hours. Same day service! Living here was the easiest decision I have ever made. I knew that as soon as I walked through those doors when I was greeted with a smile you could see through mask from management. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!!

Do not move here! Especially if you will be working from home at all. Lived in this place going on three years and the quality has drastically deteriorated. I used to recommend this place for people to live but it is a far cry from what it once was. They have made changes recently, but they mistake these for improvements. The package room situation is a mess. Expect multiple fire alarms per week, including in the middle of the night. Managements response is essentially too bad they are out of our control. They do try to tell you about fire alarm test ahead of time, but their email system is unreliable, and you aren't guaranteed to receive an email, as I recently found out mid work meeting. The heating and cooling for the central parts of the building has gone out several times and it takes them a while for them to fix. Expect much higher energy costs while they are out and no sympathy from management. The building runs very hot, expect very high electrical costs for running your AC in the summer, just to keep your apartment at 76-78 degrees. The new smart thermostat is very sensitive, even after adjustment, so expect it to be constantly cycling on and off. Recently reported a potential natural gas leak and it took two days to get someone to check it out. It just turns out that the wind can blow straight through the vent, and you get the outside breeze right through the closet, which was blowing in the natural gas smell. The parking garage frequently has gates problems, as well. The area itself fine and the proximity to the metro is great but I would recommend one of the other buildings if you want to live in the area. Even if this seems affordable to start you should probably expect them to lead with a 10 percent rent when it comes time to renew your lease.

The leasing office is a disaster. There are not enough boxes to have packages delivered so residents end up sifting throughout hundreds of packages. The continuously blame delivery drivers but I was able to see there were only 45 lockers …Hi Jennifer, thank you for feedback. It looks as if you had come to the package room shortly after a delivery had been made. As you may or may not know, we have a whole other set of package lockers for the residents that are in the adjacent building. Our team works hard periodically throughout the day to ensure that resident packages are organized. If you ever need assistance locating a package in our package room, please let the leasing office know and they will come and assist.

Every community handles resident communication independently, but a good place to start is the MAA site and the Resident Login portal. Not only can residents pay rent online, they can submit and track service requests, check out online deals, and stay connected to news and events in their community.
Most of our communities are pet friendly and offer an array of amenities catered to pets, like pet washing stations and Bark Parks. Check out community pages for pet policies or learn more by visiting our website!
In general, you should hear from a leasing agent within 48 hours, but please note, processing times can be different from community to community.
MAA has added virtual tours and self-guided tours in addition to in person with a leasing agent in order to ensure that you feel comfortable as you tour our communities. You can choose the way you want to tour each community by making a choice on the “Tour Your Way” page.
We offer different types of housing, from studio apartments and garden apartments, to mid-rise buildings and everything in between. Whether you’re looking for a city setting or a more suburban feel, MAA has lots of options for your choosing.
