The shrimp here are our favorite! They are the perfect size, nicely seasoned, deveined and easy peel.......they always give us both meltd butter and coctail sauce without even requesting it. I do want to mention that this place is nothing fancy but is perfect if you want great seafood, cheap beer and a cool Jimmy Buffet type laid back flip-flop kinda vibe which we are personally all about!!! The Snow Brab legs are decent sized and good as well but the shrimp is still my #1 food of choice at The Freezer! They do not accept anything but CASH so be prepared......they do have an ATM on site but it will charge you an additional fee on top of what your bank charges as well.

They have the best steamed we have ever had, and I am a shrimp person!! It is a hole in the wall type atmosphere but that's what I like. Walk in find a seat and order at the bar. Cash only but they do have an ATM.

This place has fantastic food. The prices are good and the beers are cheap! I ordered two draught beers for $1 each. Two and a half pounds of steamed shrimp was $20. Can't beat it. The seating inside is a bit sketchy, and the table we had was covered in flies, so we had to sit somewhere else. The clam chowder was fantastic and you can also get it in a bread bowl. I really liked this place. Everyone is friendly and the food comes out quickly. A definite gem! Not the type of place that is super high class, that for sure. If you want one of those restaurants, go somewhere else. But for good food and excellent value for your dollar, you can't beat The Freezer!

Food & a View! But the best part is that this was the FRESHEST shrimp I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was crowded, but the turn over was quick. Don't be turned off by the line. They are a well-oiled machine, and you won't be waiting long. Even if you were, what a better place to spend your time!

Yes, there were several families there on a Sunday afternoon. They have a kids menu.
its known for its seafood.. so make smart choices.. things might have made contact with shellfish items..

They always have steamed shrimp and for the price I doubt they have any specials as it's already a bargain. I have never seen them serve a burger because they don't fry anything...steaks on the grill outside on Wednesday's and wings outside in the fryer on Sundays...
They are currently open for dine in and carry out. I have seen some people bring lawn chairs and sit by their cars with their take out orders.

My personal opinion as a Non Emergency Medical Transporter on masks is one unless its absolutely necessary why wear them in a restaurant one masks are hott and constrict proper air flow and cause breathing problems. Plus at restaurants i don't see the point in wearing them. As for being in Hospitals Nursing homes and Medical facilities i absolutely see the reason why yet i can barely breathe in a mask let alone wearing safe glasses and a face shield.

Steak night is Wednesday. Starts at 5pm until they run out. It's served with potatoes & corn on the cob. Really good!

Lol dont worry about the prices, go experiance it! You will leave full and see a really cool place. If you like quirky, open air fun with friends environment don't miss it. In the scope of things its fairly cheap .
They have chicken wings that are cooked out front when you walk in. Remember it's cash only though.
Opens at 11:30 on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday they close at 10 PM on Sunday they close at 9 PM.
When we are down from Pennsylvania love to have the Gulf of Mexico peel and eat shrimp you got a lot don't like the fact that you have to drink swamp water unless you want to pay for a Pepsi or something you can't bring a bottle of water in my husband's a transplant recipient and he needs water not Pepsi or beer any kind of alcohol for either one of us
The whole place is sort of set up for take out. Order at the bar and they will bring your food to you in to go boxes. The food is awesome dont let the fast service and to go boxes fool you. Their Mullet dip, crab legs and shrimp are amazing!!!
