I'm rating a 4 because I did get mixed communications about switching my out of state license...come to find out after about 3 visits name changes you have to have physical and certified in there hands . Nothing electronic...but all in all after several visits I finally got the proper information and did get my new license...it's kind of funny I've had a Florida license over half my life and I'm 56..and I did move away for about 9 years...but now I'm back and I certainly did not realize all the documents I needed to get it changed back....first time for everything I guess. But it's done...all in all did not have to wait to Long and staff were nice......Thankyou

I have worked retail and with the public for over 20 years. I know that it's frustrating and some people can be hard to deal with. That being said, I've never had to deal with rude people to the extent that I do here. I think I've literally told every single one of the women that work there off every single time I've gone there because they are so effing rude. I have literally never had a good experience with anyone that works there. The rudeness is off the charts.

I walked into the DMV to fix an issue with my license to find out it had been suspended already. The problem was that I sold my vehicle and didn’t turn the tag in within 30 days. I wasn’t even notified there was an issue with my license! I am giving 5 stars because the staff there was extremely courteous and professional. They understood my issue, and while couldn’t help me with the cost ($160!) they did give me all the right information I needed to get my license back ASAP. Which I did! I also noticed that every window was occupied with a teller. They sanitized after each customer. They were aware of the line and kept people moving while doing everything right.

Worker was a bit rude. I renewed my license early & she would not give me back my old license stating a person cannot have 2 ID's. I should have asked for a supervisor as the old one was still valid for 2 more months. She was also rude regarding my marriage license & had to ask another gal if it was OK. Been married for 30 years & it was fine last time i renewed. She is on a power trip.

If all information on the license is correct, you will be required to take a vision test, and new photo and the renewal fee will be $54.25 plus any endorsements (if applicable). The gold star on your license means that you are REAL ID compliant meaning you have provided all identity documents required by the federal law (REAL ID ACT) that went into effect 1/2010 and has nothing to do with your driving record etc.
For the driving road test you need to make an appointment
They give you a number outside and allow you to sit in chair inside to wait if you have to wait..but they pretty quick if you go before lunch
