We just got back from staying at the camp site. The camping sites where nice and the 2 that I paid for where nice. We ended up only using the one because it was huge. Shower/ restrooms where big and nice and very clean. Only down fall that I had on our weekend get away was the mounds and mounds of red ants! They where EVERYWHERE!!! You couldn’t sit outside or anything without getting ate alive by them. Our poor dogs where are up from all of the bites. Sad that they couldn’t treat the camp sites for this issue. We won’t be camping there again that’s for sure due to that issue.

Absolutely one of my favorite trails. Great place for a walk or run.

Really enjoyed this short hike at one of the stops (#8) on/in the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. The trail is very well marked with blue blazes and hiking signs so there is little chance of getting lost. The trail was flat and narrow with some low overhead limbs but nothing to climb over. Seems to be a good trail for fitness hiking.

Visited the park today to complete the trail that is part if the Trailwalker Program through the Florida State Forest. The park did have a sign that was posted that said high bear activity. I had my bear spray and bear whistle however others at the park didn't seem too concerned. This is a very well kept park and we saw quite a few other people. Overall a great park and I highly recommend it!
