Stopped on Vacation with only a rod and reel for my son. Looking for a quick setup kit or something that had a touch of what I needed for peir fishing. Ended up with hooks shrimp and leaders. Be nice if there was something setup for tourists to buy for $20-$25 even more if it was a nice variety pack and get them enough for a few species for the day. I know I could have went to Walmart and bought exactly what I needed but I always try to shop small business so we bit the bullet. Didn't catch anything on frozen shrimp but there were a few other locals who weren't getting anything as well said tide was coming in. Will return to buy tackle from next time, I'll just pack a few more items that I know I need now.

Pete is great, he knows his stuff, we've been buying our shinners here and there always great shinners. Pete has everything anyone would need to fish with; crappie, bass, catfish and many many more. Pete has always been honest with us and told us the lakes people are fishing in and never just told us something to try and try to impress us. So if you want to catch fresh water fish in Citrus county Florida, then go see Pete at Riverland bait, he will be never disappoint you. Just a special note I have caught a 13.7 pd bass and a 14.11 pd bass, all caught with Pete's bait. Here we are its 2021 and we caught a lot of great bass again, we only use Petes bait, its the best around for sure. We had another great 4 months of fishing and were thrilled with our all our catches! I caught a 12.5 this time and we caught dozens around 10pds, you just cant beat it. We are back again for some great fishing and of course we have gone back to see Pete, he as usual sent us in the rite direction, cant go wrong when you end up catching fish!!!

Just needed to get some crickets for a Five Lined Skink that we had saved from a neighbor's sticky mouse trap. Friendly and helpful staff. The lizard is now doing well and living back in the wild again. Thanks for to the crickets that they had.
