Joe and crew were fantastic to work with. Being new to Solar power I had a lot of questions. They were happy to answer all of my questions. I ended up getting 12 estimates for my house from different companies. FPS designed the most efficient system for my dollars spent. During installation my roof needed leveling in spots. These guys added roofing materials to my roof at no additional charge. Getting the power company to switch me over was a nightmare because the power company had my address wrong in their system. Joe stayed with me the entire time and we eventually got Duke straighten out. I can't say enough good about them from the initial sales contact to questions after I turned on my service. Great job guys!

Florida Power Services installed my solar panels about a year ago. This is an awesome company! I’ve been working with Joe and he’s very professional, he has a quick response time, and is great with communication. Even one year later they are very attentive and answer all my questions and concerns. As a homeowner it’s such an exciting feeling to know you’ve made a good investment.

If you are considering solar, go with this company! My husband and I reached out to numerous solar companies and had very back luck with anyone following up with us after an initial call. On the other end of the spectrum, Joe was incredibly responsive and honest - I didn't get the impression that he was trying to push product on us, rather, he gave facts and his thoughtful opinion when we asked for it. After reviewing quotes from other companies, we found that Florida Power Services offered the best prices for what we were looking for, and now we know they also offer excellent service. Joe also worked with our roofing company to ensure we had the most appropriate roof put on for the panels. As we waited for the roofing company to finish, Joe was very flexible and patient despite the roofer's changing deadlines. Once we were ready for the solar panel installation, Joe's company immediately and quickly completed the work. Joe continually checked in with us during and after this entire process to make sure we were happy with the product/work - which we are! We are now almost fully powered by solar and making back the money we spent for it. If you're looking for an affordable solar option from a very trustworthy and responsive company, go with Florida Power Services. It's a huge financial investment, so I am taking this recommendation very seriously.

Florida Power Services recently finished installing our 11.6 K solar system and we cranked it up last week. I have worked with contractors in a field other than solar power and gone through detailed bid procedures. We didn’t do that in this case but we were looking for the same thing we always do in more rigorous bidding processes and that is, finding the least-cost-competent contractor. The simple translation for that term is, “Best Bang for the Buck.” We found that with this company. The owner, Joe Forest, is very direct and honest in his dealings and will let you know what he thinks is the best solution to your energy-producing requirements. I received a detailed quote and checked that, along with what Joe told me about the system components and projected performance. Everything I was told checked out and we got the process started. From there, we immediately received engineering drawings and paperwork for permits and within a week, work began. The installation crew, including the owner have obviously done a few of these and there was an efficient, coordinated effort resulting in a clean, finished product in two days. The panels look sharp and all conduit, inverter boxes and other hardware reflect a top professional installation. Upon completion, the crew took aerial shots of the house and solar hardware via drone and sent us a picture from above showing the finished product. We could not be happier with the entire process and result and give Florida Power Services our highest recommendation.

Hi Colleen, Yes and I'd be happy to talk to you about a solar quote! You can call or use the "Consultation Form" on the website to provide the information needed for a custom solar quote tailored to your property. We'll need to look at your power history to accurately size the solar array so a copy of your last power bill would be helpful. Thanks so much for reaching out, I look forward to working up a no obligation formal solar quote for you!
We have over 17 years of solar experience and stand behind the products used in our designs. Contact us for a consultation.
Hi Bryan, we do not subcontract.
Sorry, we currently do not provide only the wiring of a system.
Paying by check yields the highest ROI but we do offer low cost options as well.
The Federal Tax Credit is the largest incentive availible on the purchase of a solar power system, until December 31st 2019 the credit is good for 30% (or example $27,000 system X 30% would give you a tax credit vauled at $8,100). The Sunshine State is also showing their support for the adoption of cleaner energy sources by exempting your purchase from sales tax (an estimated savings of $1,890 on the above $27,000 example).
It all starts with your power consuption from the grid, calculating your annual kWh usage is step one. The easiest way to do this is to look at monthly usgae graph on your power bill, take the highest, mid, and lowest months, average them out, and multiple by 365. With that number you can size your solar system to produce X
