Went in for ultrasound because I was sent there by another hospital that lacked an ultrasound machine. The first nurse was rude and just jumped to conclusions until I showed her my paperwork from other hospital. The nurse that did my blood work was great, along with the ultrasound technician. The doctor was arrogant and gave me no advice on what to do other than to follow up with primary care doctor in area....after I told them 3 times that I am not even from Colorado and will not be returning home til next week. Then I waited more...so was almost a total of 3 hours until I finally walked out. Next time I will go to the hospital in Vail.

Guess I learned my lesson. Cut finger, 4 steri strips and 15 minutes with a sweet doctor, bill for $3,097. This is pretty expensive medical care.

Went in short of breath, severe headache and oxygen in 80s my 1st trip to colorado. The entire ER department was exceptional and hospital very clean. Highly recommend.

I had my first child here and when I have another baby I hope to be able to come back! The staff was AMAZING. I felt so comfortable, supported, listened to and tended to for my entire stay. While waiting for my epidural my nurse Meghan was so wonderful. She had the foresight to put in the order before I knew I needed it,and really helped me get through some very intense contractions. As a new mom I felt like i asked a lot of silly questions but the nurses were all happy to answer and were so helpful. The doctors are also amazing. Baby and I were checked in on very frequently and I was always told about what was happening. Big big thank you to this hospital for helping me have such a great experience with my first baby.

My husband was allowed in. We didn't have anyone else there, but I can't imagine they would say no. The maternity rooms are rather large and private, so there wouldn't be any way of someone getting in the way.
There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC recommends preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including: -Avoid close contact with people who are sick. -Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. -Stay home when you are sick. -Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. -Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. -Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
We are working closely with CDPHE, CDC, and suppliers to ensure we have the appropriate level of supplies to care for patients and protect our staff. At this time, Centura has received all allocated supplies to meet current needs.
Call the office of your health care provider before you go. Tell them about your travel or contact and your symptoms. Your healthcare professional will work with your state’s public health department and CDC to determine if you need to be tested for COVID-19. They will give you instructions on how to get care without exposing other people to your illness. While sick, avoid contact with others, don’t go out in public and delay any travel to reduce the possibility of spreading illness to others.
Centura Health is following the CDC guidelines to address patients with infectious diseases, including the coronavirus. Our hospitals are equipped with negative airflow rooms that are required to care for certain infections or viruses including coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, we hold periodic drills to address these types of scenarios as part of our standard emergency preparedness activities.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person. -Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). -Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
They contract through Avalanche PT
