Great hike late in the evening.

Great trail system. Hiked Ginny and Powerline loop. Entire 8.5 miles and 1600 feet of elevation gain were bone-dry. Fantastic view into RMNP from the top of the ridge.

Great family hiking spot. Bikes and horses are allowed on certain trails. Old cabin is a fun place to explore. Open prairie and some more wooded trails

What a lovely, quiet, area for a short walk, picnic, or all day hike! We stumbled upon this area by accident and couldn’t recommend more! We will certainly be back again regularly!

They were open last Monday.
Nope, it's free access
It wasnt bad a few weeks ago after the big storm however icy and muddy in areas once you get up in the trees. The site says traction devices recommended and shows live parking lot footage. https://www.fcgov.com/naturalareas/status.php
