A true speakeasy. You need to come through the back door to get in. The secret code is Big hank. Just kidding. But you should like this place. My wife and I were here about 7 years ago and decided to come back this year. It has aged and does need an update on it's furniture. It definitely has aged some but still the same great drinks. Take a look at the old fashioned in the way it's delivered. As if it's a medicine bottle.

Finding this place is half the fun! A totally awesome and laid back environment. Terrific drinks. I highly recommend the old fashioned with four roses Bourbon.

The best reason to visit Sarasota! The cocktail list features a variety of rotating seasonal ingredients, and they always seem to be trying something new or unique! We saw this birch liqueur on their shelves just last week—I had never seen an Icelandic liqueur prior to that. So happy that this place has been going strong for many years. Well worth the wait on weeks, but the best time to visit is definitely during the week.

Erica, We are a twenty one and up establishment at Pangea Alchemy Lab, so our guests need to be of legal drinking age. You can join our sister establishment meLange located directly next door at 1568 Main Street. They offer Pangea's classic cocktails and some of the foods offered in the lounge.

If you're looking for a bar with a live band that plays tunes you can dance to, you probably want to go elsewhere. After you've done your dancing and you're ready to chill and sip on some excellent drinks made by awesome bartenders, that's when you should swing by Pangea.
